There’s an older lady who works here and is notoriously nasty and rude. Food is decent, but that lady ruins the experience every time we come.

The food here used to be so good but its gone way down. Soup still tastes good but the fillings have become scant and low quality (my soup came with bad mussels). Additionally my friends and I recently got the seafood pancake that used to be packed with seafood but what we got was such a sad excuse. It had imitation crab meat and almost nothing else but batter and some veggies. Will not be wasting money on that ever again.

Quality of the food here went down while prices went up. We will not be coming back here again.

I used to always dine at Lighthouse in Annandale, and after moving nearby I heard this was supposed to be their official branch, so I decided to give it a try. It turned out to be a huge disappointment.
The moment I sat down, I was rushed to place an order. Because I hesitated and didn’t order within 5 seconds, I was met with an eye roll. When the food arrived, one of the servers even had their finger dipped in the sauce dish. After about 20 minutes of eating, the bill was slapped down on the table, which pressuring us to finish quickly and pay.
The shrimp in the tofu soup was extremely unfresh, tasting like it had been frozen for months. When I asked to pack up the unfinished other dishes, the takeout box was tossed onto the table with no word, and the server walked away.
The only exception was a young Hispanic gentleman who kindly refilled our water and side dishes once.
I thought maybe I was treated poorly because I don’t speak Korean, but then I noticed the elderly Korean couple at the next table received nearly the same treatment.
From now on, I’d rather just buy prepared food or go for food court across the street at H Mart than ever come back here again.

I’m not one to leave reviews, but I just had to. We ordered the beef intestine tofu soup along with the cold buckwheat noodles, and it was honestly so delicious, especially the buckwheat noodles; so refreshing on a hot summer day, that’s all I’m going to say. The visuals of the food speak for itself. Additionally, the servers were so attentive and kind, it made me feel welcomed, which added to my overall positive experience here. I’ve been to many Korean restaurants here in the DMV area, and if you’re looking for good Korean restaurant to eat at, I’d recommend this one.

I came back to this place recently after so many years. Tofu soup isn't my top pick of food. I'm so pleasantly surprised this time because they serve hot bibimbap now, and it was one of the best I've had in DMV. The ajummas work fast and efficiently. The decor looks like there was some effort initially, but a little bit worn out over time. It's still reasonably clean!
The tofu soup is the best in the area, too, according to the folks who ordered it in my group. I tried it and it's alright, but again it's not my thing. The bibimbap and kimchi alone I'd come back for. The kimchi here is so good. You could tell it's made by someone who knows what she's doing. It's not too hard or too sour like the ones you can buy from Lotte. It's spiced just right. The pickled veggies given here are also the best you can get. I know I'm hyping up the side dishes, but they are really that good. They definitely elevate the overall experience one notch up when I was already happy with the bibimbap and its crispy rice crust on the bottom!

A friend sent us some pajeon, galbi, and stew from this place, and we really enjoyed it! I looked up the location and ordered some galbi to go—and it was absolutely perfect. The seasoning was spot on and the meat was incredibly tender. My daughter loved it! I honestly wonder why I only discovered this place now. The staff are so kind and the atmosphere is great. I think this will definitely become one of our go-to spots!

Been going for years. But last visit, server was extremely rude. The taste of the food wasn't as good as before. Galbi not as flavorful. The soondubu was still same and tasty. The stir fried calamari had tons of cabbage barely any calamari.

Came here for the tofu stew but ended up trying the buckwheat bibim noodles because of a sign—and I’m so glad I did! The noodles were perfectly chewy and the sauce had just the right balance of flavor.
The ladies working there were incredibly kind and warm, just like moms—made the whole meal feel so comforting.
It’s a clean, casual spot where you can eat comfortably whether you’re alone or with family. Whether you’re here for the tofu or the noodles, it’s definitely worth a visit. Highly recommend!
