I've been getting take out for a number of years from 88 China and it has been consistently very good compared to some of the other local Chinese establishments. This is one of my go-to places when I'm in the mood for Chinese. Please do note their business hours before paying a visit as they are closed on Tuesdays.
I came here to try this restaurant simply because of my curiosity. It turns out to be a pleasant surprise and it's a return restaurant! We ordered the chilly oil fish and "the lion's head"( a big pork meatball). The waitress told us lion's head would take about 20 mins and we waited. It is probably one of the best I've ever head in the US. The texture and flavor was perfect! We are looking forward to going back their and try more dishes!
Phenomenal Sichuan cuisine for the area. Scallion fried fish is a must have, coming from someone who rarely eats fish. Mapo Tofu really great too. Fried eggplant is sweet and crispy, very good. Sichuan green beans as well. All around great stuff, order from the front and more authentic part of the menu.
