I couldn’t believe this place was still open. We used to come here late night in high school in the 90s drunk as hell…the breakfast burrito and coffee literally saved lives. The food was still as good as I remembered. I saw it and had to stop by. Looks different… but 30 years will do that🤣
Quite possibly the best Mexican food I've ever eaten and I'm from Detroit where we have Mexican Town. What Anita's can do with refried beans is astonishing. The food is amazing.

June 2026: I was just there and the food, service, and prices remain outstanding as it was 8 years ago when I wrote my first review of this restaurant and in 1989 when I first experienced Anita's at their Vienna restaurant and before there was an internet! Go to any Anita's and it will be great.
