These macarons are top tier! Her flavors are so inventive!! I’m obsessed. She puts her heart and soul into her macarons and you can really tell. Macarons are notoriously hard to get right and chiboo really does always deliver. Fave flavors: rose lychee, strawberries and cream, coffee, earl grey, and lemon poppy seed. Ugh so so good.

I love supporting small solopreneurs and had high hopes for these after seeing a reel about a pop-up shop for them. The entrance is hard to find, but it is an opaque sliding door!
I eagerly bought a 12 pack and although the flavors were intriguing many of them didn’t really have any taste and were stale, where the texture seemed like they had been sitting out for a while after being frozen. I know there are sporadic hours, so I’d say maybe try again not on a Sunday close to close when they may not be fresh. The two that I felt had a true macron texture and soft chew was the lemon and chocolate strawberry. The rest were so flakey they were falling apart in every bite and the filling was almost a frosting for some. Not my typical macron or worth $3 each :(

We recently ordered gift boxes that included holiday themed macarons. The owner was a pleasure to communicate with and the gift boxes turned out lovely. The recipients of the boxes raved that the macarons were beautiful and tasted amazing! I highly recommend trying Chiboo Bakery!

Love Chiboo bakery! Chelsea did my wedding macarons and I loved how they turned out! I've gone to this location a handful of times and they always have wonderful flavors to choose from. My personal favorites are the chocolate, lemon, and raspberry flavors!
I went here at a co-worker's recommendation and oh, my goodness, the macarons are delectable. I ordered a variety but my favorites were the coffee, the pistachio, and the rose. I will definitely be a repeat customer.

I have visited Chiboo both at the shop and during the mid autumn festival in DC! Both experiences were amazing - I love closer to DC, so getting to the shop was difficult but it was worth the trek - I felt like I entered the promised land when I walked in! So many incredible flavors and designs to choose from, and I was able to cop a kaya jam while I was there!

Nothing beats a Chiboo Bakery macaron. This woman-owned business is led by the creative, kind Chelsea who makes everything from scratch, using only the freshest, high quality ingredients. She even reduces her own fruit for the filling- no fillers nor sugar bombs like most. And don’t get me started on her creative flavors and designs that you can’t get elsewhere. I am grateful they freeze well because one macaron satisfies but I can’t order every day. 😜
