I stopped here because I thought it would have decent beer from devils backbone brewery but they didn’t have any. They just sold typical run of the mill beer . The food was ok but nothing special. I see that they are owned by HMS host and I assume they just use the DBB name only . It’s an ok spot to eat but 100% false advertisement. Not sure I understand why they even use the name.

Waited forever to be acknowledged and only needed to order takeout. Ordered to-go burger and fries. They gave it to me in a bag tipped sideways, box flipped over. Everyone looked miserable and waiting around for service, glad I wasn't dining in. Won't go back.

If you are a person of color, I absolutely do not recommend! There was blatant discrimination from the time I stood in line to be seated. The waiter or hostess literally motioned for the couple standing behind me to be seated, I was never acknowledged not even to be asked if I was picking up or wanted to be seated. The couple and I were both uncomfortable because we both knew she was wrong. I work in the airport as a contractor and have been here several times as it is close to my work location and every single time I was treated badly! No regard to acknowledge me, always an attitude from the waiters and hostess. I 100% do not recommend. The food is also below average

The nachos with pork was disappointing to my husband and daughter- the pork had a sauce that was way too sweet for their taste. My pulled pork sandwich was okay. Similar to a sloppy Joe on a cheap bun. The bun got soaked in the sauce. Barely any slaw on the sandwich. The fries were good however. The food came quickly. Spent $79 for 4- 2 burgers, one pulled pork sandwich, a nacho appetizer and 1 iced tea -3 waters.

Went here for breakfast and they ran out of coffee, how is this even possible. Service was practically non-existent. Just open at lunch if you are not going to do a proper breakfast.

Good beer but very poor value. $60 with average tip for two beers and fish and chips. I’ve been to the flagship brewery and the greed isn’t as apparent there. A shame to stray away from the founding value of the original. Will not return

Ate here before flight to London. Service was great, food was good and I respect the waitresses here. They have lots of patience dealing with the demands of so many picky customers. The Airport Authority should be paying this restaurant for staying here. It's the only location in that terminal to sit down and eat.....Kind of like a Restaurant desert (that's desert, not dessert). The waitresses will let you keep your luggage along the side of one of the service stations....good for easy sight so no one steals your luggage and important trinkets that tourists buy tot take home. It's always crowded, primarily due to lots of flights and poor airport planning, and very few down time windows due to being the only restaurant in this area of the terminal. Imagine all the $$$ the airport authority makes from ticket taxes and taxes on your bill and charging the owner for the space!!!!! I hope the waitresses are compensated well for what they endure.

I've ordered Loaded Backbone Nachos at this place on Dulles. Worst decision ever, I had to throw everything in the trash after a bite of the nacho. They microwaved the nacho and the cheese they used is the canned dollar tree liquid cheese. Worst taste ever!

Even by airport standards, it’s horrible. The bartender could care less, so we got up and left. Chef Geoff’s down the concourse is a much better choice.

Pulled pork sandwich was heavy on the pork and very light on coleslaw and pickles. It was tasty but fell apart in my hands. Had a good drink selection too. Service was basically non existent. One person working.
