Great food . I had the curry goat and oxtail. The meal was outstanding. I also purchased the spicy beef patties, probably the best beef patties I’ve had ,with the right amount of spice. The only recommendation I have is to order before you arrive. The place is housed in a warehouse with other businesses. You cannot enter, so you have to order your food and they will bring it out to you. You just have to let them know when you arrive.

Kind of don't want everyone to know about this gem that we discovered but really appreciate the quality of the food and the owner's hustle. Owners name Is E aka Eazy. This is currently a shared kitchen spot so no sit-down option, which is great because sometimes I feel as if the sitdown option causes rents to spike which penalizes my portions. As for the portions? Top notch, heavy containers and the owner knows what he is doing. We orders beef patty w coco bread, jerk pork, oxtail and brown stew chicken, and other random items that we knew we'd enjoy. So Brown Stew Chicken - 9.8/10, nice smoky tang and the sweetness and tenderness is on point. Rice and peas- 9.5/10 - coconut based the way we like it and cooked thoroughly, not rushed. Oxtail - 9.7/10- we know oxtail. We've had it in Jamaica and all over the eastern seaboard. This is Top 3, ever. Smoky and sweet and tender. Sauce is plenty. Jerk Pork - 9.6/10 - the other white meat is really good here. The jerk is not too spicy and my 3 yr old could handle it. Delicious Jerk Chicken - 9.8/10 - see above and really didn't want to share with anyone in my household. Might need to freeze this for those midnight food raids. Look, if you want carribean food, normally you would have to drive to Hyattsville/College Park/ PG County and have your head on a swivel. So glad this is in Northern VA and hope East's clientele grows and grows. Please don't change the prices - at a perfect price point and apologies for the pictures, I eat first and then review later. Best carribean food in the DMV, hands down! We came here on a Saturday and it was a little busy but definitely worth the wait. We ordered several entrees so we could really get a feel for the flavor. Everything was so flavorful! The meat pies, jerk pork and oxtail were absolutely perfect in every way.

This is literally what we needed in this area. It's so hard to find a solid consistent Caribbean take out spot around here but this place is a gem. We had the jerk chicken, brown stew chicken, and oxtails. All falling off the bone and delicious. The sautéed cabbage and Mac and cheese are solid too. Customer service is top notch. I'll definitely be back.
Hands down, the best Brown Stew Chicken I’ve ever had. Food is always ready and hot at assigned pickup time. I told my coworkers about this place and we can’t get enough of it. We order at least twice a week. Prices are very reasonable and the amount of food you get is usually enough to save some for later.

This was my first trying out this food spot. All I can say this knock out any other Jamaican spot that i have tried. I ordered jerk chicken with rice and peas and plantains. The chicken was perfectly cooked, moist and fall-off-the-bone tender with just the right amount of spice from the savory jerk seasoning. The rice and peas provided a cool contrast to the heat.Service from the owner was friendly and attentive. Prices are very reasonable given the quality and portion sizes. We left satisfied and full. Onion & Peppers is a true gem. Highly recommended!

The food didn’t even leave the parking lot. I came here hungry, placed my order, and when I got it I decided I would take a little bite of my brown stew so I can ease my appetite before driving home. I ate all of it. One sitting. No stops. Nothing but the bones left. I cannot begin to explain how much I enjoyed my meal. This is my only stop for Caribbean food now. Thank you for such a wonderful meal, I’ll be back soon!

Really good food. The oxtail is very tender and the meat falls off the bone easily, and the gravy that comes with it is very well seasoned and goes great with the rice and peas. Curry goat is the same way. You can also order half and half portions to try multiple entrees.

Absolutely amazing food, so delicious!!!!! I'm so glad I found this place, I was craving stew chicken and ox tail, my husband tried the jerk chicken. The portions are huge, the prices are great, I wouldn't mind trying something new next time because I just know it will probably also be great.
