Very busy restaurant. Great thai fried rice. They acknowledge birthdays with a quick presentation. Friendly staff. Very affordable. Photo ops.
Overall, the food was impressive for a pick up order. Between the green curry, shrimp pad thai, and chicken satay, each dish was incredibly flavorful and well done. The pad thai was a highlight for sure with the noodle texture being perfect and savory profile balancing each component well.
My critiques are that the pick up order took 50 minutes to complete. I am not surprised given how once I arrived (peak dinner time on a Saturday) the restaurant was PACKED. In terms of the food preparation, I was slightly disappointed that the green curry only had 3 pieces of eggplant and the pad thai had 5 shrimps despite being $4 extra.
I would be curious to try the dine in experience when it’s not so busy. All the dishes on their menu sound amazing to try and when I walked in their bar was non stop making drinks which looked like a good sign.

Nice place and my new spot to hang out with friends. The menu is good, and while some dishes are not fully authentic, the flavors are still very enjoyable and unique.

Pleasantly surprised with my experience visiting this sleek restaurant in South Riding.
The restaurant offers a rich, modern vibe to its diners, with great attention given to its aesthetics.
The food is priced on the higher end compared to a typical Thai restaurant, but it didn’t disappoint at all. I would recommend the Yellow Curry and Thai Basil Chicken; both dishes were very flavorful.
I would recommend reserving a table in advance if visiting on weekend evenings.

Steak medallions were very tender. Not sure what the red sauce is, but it is a little spicey and I used it all! Very good! Nice bar area.

I've come here multiple times and every single time ive loved it! Sence of Thai never fails to impress me with everything. Wish I could give more than 5 stars.

The atmosphere here is very polished and the service is very attentive. They have a lunch menu during the week that comes with an appetizer. The spring rolls and healthy rolls are both very good. The roti is excellent. The entrees are good. I ordered the panang chicken curry. It has a good flavor. The pomegranate lemonade is a very good drink. The lychee cheesecake is a great option for dessert.

Sense of Thai in Chantilly is a solid spot for good Thai food. The food itself was amazing and definitely the highlight of the visit. The deep fried branzino absolutely stole the show, crispy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The fried pork and chicken satay were also very good, and the drunken noodles and pad thai did not disappoint.
Unfortunately, they were out of mango sticky rice, which was a bit of a bummer, though that could simply be due to seasonality.
The wait staff was fine, though they could have been a little more friendly, I might just be being picky here.
Overall, a good experience and a strong 4 out of 5. I would happily come back again for the food alone.
