Wow Bao is consistently one of our favorite chains, and the IAD Terminal D location does not disappoint. My recommendation? Stick to the baos (Chinese steamed buns) -- they’re what Wow Bao is famous for. The baos at this location were fluffy, flavorful, just as delicious as those we’ve had at other locations. Since they’re pre-made and kept warm in the steamer, you can grab your order quickly. There are also stools and counters in a clean space for anyone who wants to finish their food.

Recommended dishes: BBQ Berkshire Pork, Spicy Mongolian Beef, Spicy Kung Pao Chicken

The name of the restaurant is Wow Bao. And the Bao? Well, Wow! They were delicious. We got a barbeque pork bao and Mongolian beef bao. The shortest line and fastest service in the terminal!

I can't speak to the other dishes here — I would probably never order them based on other people's reviews. But the bao are fresh and delicious.

Didn't think you could ruin teriyaki chicken and white rice. Terrible....

I had a bowl. It was a mush with bits of unknown chicken parts. Not fit for a dog. I threw it away after 3 bites. Horrible value for a rather expensive offering.

I paid $13 for one of those microwaveable dumpling trays you can get at Costco. Not worth the money at all.

Flavors are good but for the money the portion size of actual meat is laughable. Doubt there is more than a few chunks of chicken in the teriyaki and a spoonful in the baos. Way too much money for this low of portion sizes. Won't be back.

Ordered on DoorDash. Sesame chicken was hard as a rock. Kung pao was mushy, didn't have peanuts, was the smallest portion ever. Rice is hard

I’ve had some bad over priced airport food before but this place tops them all. The pot stickers were small, over cooked and dry. The fried rice is famous alright, famous for being terrible. The citrus chicken was dry and also tasted terrible. Nothing is cooked fresh. Basically everything is kept warm in plastic bags and then served from metal containers. Stay away from this place. Totally wasted $22.

Don't go. It's the worst food I've ever had at a restaurant in my life. It was so delicious that I almost threw it all away after taking a few bites. It almost makes me think that the Bow rice is a few days old.

It's a shame that it doesn't even deserve a 2-point rating. Also look at other people's opinions.

Got the kung pao chicken bowl. Terrible. Small portion and barely any chicken. Avoid at all costs. Worst airport food and deal I’ve ever had.

Simply don't go there.
The bao are just warmed up and taste like nothing. The bowls are just a mix of undefined whatever and the price is ridiculous

Small portion of un "special fried rice" that tasted like reheated left overs.
Don't recommend.

It's $11 for 6 precooked, prepackaged dumplings sitting and waiting in a container for you. Scarcely edible. Not recommended.

Probably some of the worst food I’ve had in the airport. I paid $30 for a teriyaki bowl and two bao buns, and not only was there barely any chicken in the teriyaki bowl, and I mean like three small cubes which tasted bad, but the bao buns were just as bad. I wouldn’t recommend anyone eat here!
