Great place right on the Virginia Capital Trail and Lawrence Lewis Jr Park is a mile down Wilcox Warf Road. The atmosphere is fantastic and energetic! The staff is welcoming, enthusiastic, and very timely! A very good menu with a variety of appetizers, entrees, and sides for everyone to include Gluten Free options. The beer list will cover tastes for most and the IPAs are outstanding (I'll update when I get there names.). The BBQ Dry Rub wings are outstanding and the rub is GF to boot. The Blue Cheese dressing for the carrots and celery looked to be ranch with Blue Cheese chunks, a new twist but tasted great! I'll definitely be back!Dietary restrictions: Ask the waiting staff about GF options. The BBQ Dry Rub on the wings is GF.

The food was ok. Ice tea tasted a little odd. Strong after taste. Old farmhouse and barn. Indoor and outdoor seating. Service was indifferent.

Took the wife out on the motorcycle on a gorgeous day, stopped here and had a wonderful lunch. Places like this can make you swear off chain joints!

Good food that was well seasoned and great service. We stopped for lunch and will definitely return in the spring/summer to check out some of the festivities they host.

Our Party of 10 celebrated a birthday here & the staff could not have been nicer or more accomodating (and we kept them running.) The food was good & the atmosphere warm & friendly. We peeked in the small brewery on the way out & they were friendly & informative as well. The manager apologized for a brief snag when making the reservations. Indian Fields Tavern is very customer oriented, we all left delighted.

BAIT AND SWITCH MENU - POOR QUALITY FOODWe drove an hour out of our way to eat here, based on the advertised menu and reviews.Firstly, the actual basic bar food that is served here does NOT match the gastro pub style menu that is promoted on line. No country fried wild boar, or crab cakes, just bland burgers, and salads.Service - Disengaged wait staff.AppetizersWe ordered chicken wings and the humus plate (bar food!), the wings arrived without plates. The wings had a dry buffalo coating, so I'm guessing pre-coated frozen wings. Our server disappeared and didn't return. The humus plate never showed up. As our server went AWOL I grabbed another server, who took care of us. The humus plate arrived just before our main course, complete with fridge cold bread and oily humus.Main CourseBland burger, cold cheap "Food Lion" bun, limp warmed over fries.Steak Frites. Small quantity of unseasoned dry beef, with the same limp fries that arrived with the burger. No melted butter, no herbs on the fries. We were really disappointed by the poor food quality and lazy service.I ate better quality food at Louisville Airport Chilli's earlier this week.No excuse for the real vs online, bait and switch menu, or the low quality food. Folks work hard for their money, and deserve more. Will not return.
