Good food, atmosphere was a little strange, service was good. Would try it again.

Absolutely loved my experience at Blue Heron Restaurant! The atmosphere was welcoming, the service was top-notch, and let me tell you—the chicken wings were to die for! Perfectly crispy, full of flavor, and cooked just right. I’ll definitely be coming back for more. New management was super friendly and the building looks amazing. Highly recommend!

I ordered steam shrimp. Think it was over cooked or boiled. Skin stuck to shrimps. Shrimp were tasty. Hushpuppies excellent. Slaw need some dill and other spices. That's the 4 Stars.

Great experience except for beginning.
We made reservations for 7:30 pm. We arrived at 7:25 pm. No one greeted us at hostess station for at least 20 minutes. Others without reservations were taken to a table.

Nice and easy to get to by boat. Nice new docks. Friendly service. We hope to come back. My only complaint was the krab salad being called lobster scallop and shrimp on a roll. I knew it was too good to be true.

We had a wonderful dinner. It started with the restaurant sending a water taxi to the VRBO home we rented for the week. The "taxi" service was free. Our waitress KELSI was great. She was very friendly, prompt, and kept checking on us throughout the meal. There were 6 of us and each one had a different choice. All 6 meals were prepared excellently and served hot. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Should we ever visit this area again we will be sure to come to the Blue Heron again. Thanks for a great experience and caring service

Vegetarian options: The restaurant didn't have any vegetarian se to sections. However Kelsey our waitress came up with a vegetarian option for my wife.

Our food was tasty, the service was excellent.
We have eaten here three times recently, and all three of our experiences were good. Much improvement from the past.
We had the steamed shrimp and the Cajun chicken pasta. Also m? the brownie sundae with a bunch of Ice cream!
Our server Amber did a fine job of making sure all of our needs were met. Also, the chef P stopped by the table to check on our food.

We’ve been coming to blue heron for many years, but I think the new smaller menu is much better. If you can get Amber, she is amazing! They can run out of stuff on busy weekends, but that comes with the territory around here. Worth checking out on slower to moderate days, or just go grab a drink.

We had a large group for my daughter’s graduation. The food was delicious and the waitress was so nice and very attentive. Everyone had a great time. Will definitely be back soon. If you need a great place to eat or have a large group this is the place to go.

Daughter and Son in Law took us to dinner tonight 5/4/2024. We used the Water Uber as I called it Piloted by Mr. Charlie Brown.
Food was excellent. Wife and I had the Crab Cake Sandwich and it was loaded with Crab and cooked perfectly. Daughter had the Seafood Platter and said it was also excellent. Son in Law had the Shrimp Po boy and said the same about it. Service was great and had a table by the window!!
Will go back and Highly Recommend it!!!
