We had our wedding here August 1 and Katie and the entire team at Upper Shirley Vineyards made sure it was the perfect day! We cannot say enough amazing things about Upper Shirley Vineyards. From the moment we took our first tour, we knew this was the place. Every step of the way, we felt completely taken care of, and our wedding day ended up being more beautiful than we could have imagined.

The drive up to the house was lovely. We were seated outside where we had a view of the James River. The food and service were excellent. We shared a mixed flight of generously poured reds and whites. It was our introduction to VA wines. We enjoyed all that we tasted. Definitely be back soon.

My wife and I had a great lunch there. Smashburger and chicken salad sandwich Service was great as was the food. Had one of the wine flights. We ate on the porch, and turned out it was too hot for that! But that's on us. Will be back.
