The Lamb tikka kebob I ordered, the lamb pieces were chewy, but was good. The food was much better than the Maharaja food in C'ville. I ordered Lamb Kebob and samosa.

We were here many months ago, I just found a business card from the restaurant. This place was so good. I’m coming back to give a five star review and to thank them for great food and fun authentic atmosphere. cheers!

Afghan Kabob has relocated to Market Street in Downtown Charlottesville, and the new spot has a warm ambience and friendly staff. We came for lunch, which was a buffet with good selection of dishes.

Service was top-tier. The lamb chops were amazing juicy, and tender. Definitely would recommend this location and their downtown location.

When I was in Kabul, some locals invited me to join them for lunch, dipping bread in a shared sauce in the center. It was one of the best flavour palates I've ever put on my mouth. This was not that. I had the lunch buffet, and it was good, but not up to the standard I'd hoped. To be fair, very good is hard to achieve with a buffet, so I'd say they're doing well.

The food is spoiled and smells terrible. When you arrive and they realize you want to eat from the buffet, they direct you to a specific table. The staff are completely disrespectful and have frowns and expressions of displeasure on their faces. The food is very bad and can cause stomach problems.

Raj and crew take such good care of everyone! The lamb curry was perfect, as was our entire meal. This is the best comfort food in Cville and you’ll leave with leftovers!

I enjoyed a luncheon with my friend. We were treated to excellent service from the greeting at the door. Our lunch was delicious and our teacup refilled! Chef came to check on our experience. Definitely a great experience. I highly recommend!

The food and the service were superb! We thoroughly enjoyed the vegetarian samosa appetizer, the Qabuli Palow, and the Lamb Tika Kebob. The palow was exquisite, and the kebob was wonderfully seasoned. There was traditional art and music, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere.
