Absolutely adorable old couple run and own the place, this place is adorable and you should definitely give it a chance. I can not stress to you enough how nice and sweet the owners are, they truly deserve your patronage, I garuntee after you meet them you'll be coming back just to check on them

The pork bulgogi is the best! Generous portion sizes too.

I know they are only takeout now, but the woman graciously served us at the restaurant. We were craving hot Korean soup and takeout wouldn’t be as good. This is true Korean food. Don’t sleep on Korean soups, they are delicious on a cold winter day. I lived in Korea for several years and this is authentic. Like you were invited to your friend’s grandmother’s house for dinner. Best Korean in C’ville.

This was my first time coming and oh boy it was a surprise!The inside is pretty dark so we were a bit intimated at firstThe owner working there is the sweetest! The food is amazing so rich of flavor and absolute authentic.I definitely recommend the Bibimbap :)I will definitely come again

My family used to own this restaurant many decades ago when it was Piney Mountain. We sold it to the Chae family, who turned it into an amazing Korean restaurant. It looks like it's even better now, but I doubt that Steve Chae is still around. I will have to visit next time I'm in C'ville.Love!Daryl

I cannot express how awful our food was there. My husband spent 40.00 on take out that we couldn't even eat. Tonite my husband has been in the bathroom all night sick from eating beef and broccoli. The food was bad. I got sweet and sour pork and the meat was mushy. It was dyed so red made me think i was eating bloody meat. The egg rolls smelled bad so we didn't eat them "thank God". Even the fortune cookies were stale. NEVER again will we ever get food there.
