This place has amazing vegan food! The rice balls and sweet cashew spring rolls blew it out of the park. SO GOOD! Also, Olivia is the best! She was so helpful and wonderful and makes a damn good mojito mocktail :) thank you!!!! We will absolutely be back!

Bang! used to be our favorite restaurant. My friends and I drove across the mountain to eat here all the time. Unfortunately the prices have gone way up, but so have the food portions; which would be fine if they just started showing that they’re entrees now and no longer tapas. I made the mistake of ordering 5 things off the menu the time before last (like we used to do) and was full after sharing one HUGE pasta plate and a steam bun. It ended up being such a waste of food for two people, with a high price tag. So when I went again a few weeks ago I just ordered one thing (eggplant masala?) and was full after just one plate, and unfortunately it wasn’t good (first thing I’ve ever had here that isn’t good so don’t let that deter you from coming here..just don’t get the eggplant!) I miss being able to try small plates of everything at a smaller price tag.

great place for tapas!! every dish was yummy, and so were the drinks. i would definitely try the baos here (fried chicken bao was surprisingly good), the dumplings, and the noodle dishes.
Decent food at a reasonable prices, easy to share. We enjoyed the cocktails.

Ordered the crispy shrimp and rice and Todu bun.. there was nothing crispy about the shrimp.. just cooked with nothing in them... The rice was super oily and drenched in sauce. Tofu tasted old and was stiff, the bun was over cooked and actually a brown color, similar to a hot dog bun..
We had a party of 10..the food came out sloooww one dish every 15 min or so... The last person got their order when everyone had finished eating...
I left more than half my food on the plate.. the amount of oil on the fried rice was too much and made me sick. I still paid and tipped the server..
I will not return.. I think the restaurant is a good concept, but the food and delivery process is a total miss... and Waayy too expensive for what you get...
Our servicer was nice and apologetic..

I am not 21 but was able to get the most delicious mocktails at the bar! My server was cute and handsome man named David or something.

Absolutely loved our evening! The steamed buns were perfectly soft and flavorful, and the tapas were creative, well-seasoned, and beautifully presented. Every dish was a treat, and the cozy, vibrant atmosphere added to the experience. Service was attentive and friendly too. A must-visit if you're in Charlottesville and love trying a variety of bold flavors!

YUM! We loved the pork belly bun, black pepper tofu, cauliflower, and tuna crispy rice. We walked in at 6:30pm with 6 of us and sat down. Sunrise in Savannah drink was great too!
We enjoyed a lovely meal on the front porch, which is a fun place to watch people strolling by. The waitress was in training and she did a terrific job. She visited the table just enough. We started with drinks. I tried an Espresso martini for the first time and it was superb. We shared the Temp Sweet Potatoes, with a delicious sauce, the Brussels Sprouts, Firecracker Shrimp, the Beef Spring Rolls, and the Chicken Tiki Masala. The food was delicious. Another great meal at Bang!
