I'm a beer guy. I like beer. These two facts drew me to visit Beer Run when in the area. I was excited to see what they had to offer. Selection was good and I was happy to see so many solid choices available. I feel though that the torch was a bit dropped with the confusion once inside the store. There's a lot going on. A bar. Food was good. Most of the draft beer was expensive and prices varied for seemingly no particular reason. The take-out beer selection inside was good and the prices overall were reasonable. Cool spot but the parking situation is a bit clumsy.
Some bartenders are great. Not all. Been going to beer run 10 years. Not often. I like the selection and generally the service. Last couple of times on a Friday at 4, the bartender was rude and short. Made me feel unwelcome and a bother. Same dude. Geez. Asked for a couple samples before deciding and got a couple drops of each. Didn’t help me decide. But I have made some decisions. Terribly start to a weekend. Love you beer run but some folks will keep me and others away.
