BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse

The service took 20-45 minutes for everything and my waitress changed in the middle of it. The food came out melted and the waitress kept forgetting the order. I also felt like I couldn't flag down a waitress because they were too far, they were relaxing at the bar, or they were busy. I also ran out of water and I couldn't ask for a refill because I was more focused on leaving or getting my food. Bad service, food was okay besides the melted food, and wouldn't come again.

We don’t remember the servers name but they were great. The food came out quick and was very good. Overall would come back.

I had an amazing experience last night. We had the new Brewhouse Bites sampler and it was perfect! Our server Jon was also amazing. He never let my cup run dry!!! We will be back!

I rarely go out to eat and when I do and it's a bad experience, it's that much more disappointing. After waiting for about 10 minutes for someone to come greet us, I finally gave up and went back to the hostess to ask if we had a server in our section. She seemed annoyed and went to go find someone to help us. Another good 10 minutes and someone finally came to take our order. It was a Tuesday night and she only had three tables apart from us. We gave her our entire order, bar drinks and burgers, and it just took forever. The burger was overcooked and salty, and the asparagus I ordered instead of fries had so much pepper on them I actually sneezed! She happened to come by as soon as I decided to ask for fries instead. Never got the fries. After we had completely eaten our burgers, she nervously came up to the table and said she had been waiting for the fries. Instead of asking her why she didn't ask the kitchen for them or get her manager to help her I just said it doesn't seem like the kitchen is your friend tonight. She agreed with me. Someone had put coupons on all the tables for a free pizookie, and it turned up on the bill... no explanation from the server, even though she knew we handed her the coupon... both my date and I have been to BJ's in other cities and have had good experiences, the BJ's in Charlottesville shouldn't even be open. As far as I'm concerned that was the worst restaurant experience I've had in a very long time.

I know what you are thinking, all these reviews are from disgruntled people.. but no, this place really is just BAD. Waited over half an hour just to get the waters, then food and then our drinks came out. Only a handful of tables. Food was awful, no toilet paper in restroom, looked like maybe one wait staff and one bartender were working. Will not be back.

The food is amazing! The Parm Crusted Chicken is one of the best chicken dishes I've ever had. Service was spectacular! I wish I gotten our server's name, but he was attentive without being overbearing, & we were not pressured to leave after we'd gotten the check. Will definitely be back!

We had excellent service. The food was very good. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. We really enjoyed the experience.

1/4 of the taps were down but Carl was a friendly bartender and there were still 30 beers to choose from.

Won’t be back in town unfortunately, but would come back just to see Carl pour a few more pints for me.
