Excellent dinner! I'm not a huge steak person, however, the sides are incredible. Amazing salads and Brussels sprouts and an awesome drink menu. Looking forward to going back. It can get loud so may not be good for some folks.

If you don't appreciate a well-heeled and laid back crowd enjoying exceptional wine, cocktails, and fine cuts of beef... with classic rock dinner party tracks fronting the vocals of platters and pans, cocktail shakers, and lively patron chats all around... this is not the restaurant for you. The wide variety of beef cuts offered is unique, with sources, weights, and prices disclosed proudly; many larger cuts on offer to share. We went (boring) old school and ordered 8 oz filets with two different sauces. The steaks were exquisite: exactly medium rare and gorgeously tender and flavorful. Au poivre sauce was to die for if you're into it. The red potato smashers are sublime and truly not to be missed (and not mashed potatoes). Delectable. Caesar salad was covered with parmesano-reggiano fluff and not heavily croutoned or overly dressed, perfect starter before a meat and potatoes meal; both main salads easily shared by 2-3 people, beet and goat cheese salad was stacked 3" high and 7-8" across. Generous and, if you like beets, you will absolutely LOVE it. And don't miss the chocolate mousse raspberry thing for dessert. Service was on FIRE. Our server was interested, paid attention to every detail, and anticipated our needs and timing along with several other tables' invisibly, unobtrusively, and without pretend pomp. Finally, the host deserves special mention. The gentleman gives off a certain vibe: reading the room and guests like a pro and seating accordingly. We noticed he went out of his way to accommodate a drop in guest dining alone on a random Wednesday evening when the restaurant was already packed. Expeditious, sophisticated, well-mannered and gracious, he immediately set us at ease when we were unexpectedly a few minutes late. He is exactly who you want at front of house. Everything was perfect.

We enjoyed a cocktail out on the patio before our reservation. The mocktails were delicious and well priced. The best part about the dinner was the outstanding service by Katie/Catie; attentive, knowledgeable, warm personality. The fried oysters were good. The Caesar salad fell flat. The steaks we had did as well, the best thing from the steak was the slab of amazing butter on top. I would return for an appetizer, a drink, and dessert.
