First time there ordered shrimp salad on Onion bagel - husband got a BLT on same kind of bagel. Mine was just baby shrimp with no mayonnaise, just seemed like plain shrimp, yuck. My husband absolutely loved his BLT, best he'd ever had, he's 73! Atmosphere was nice, service was fast, parking was busy but achievable. Would definitely return but not for that shrimp salad.
Vegetarian options: Don't order the shrimp salad unless you enjoy a plain shrimp sandwich

We don't understand the enthusiasm for the Bodo's chain. They do a great business and, as you can see, have a huge number of 5-star reviews; but the true NY bagel shops have nothing to fear.
The bagels, themselves, were okay, though a little small. They only offered ten types of bagels, and two of them are plain and whole wheat. They didn't offer anything out of the very ordinary, like jalapeno, or garlic, salt, & onion. The garlic bagel did have toasted garlic on it, but barely had an aroma of garlic, and little, if any, garlic flavor.
The breakfast sandwiches were good, but not great. It didn't help that I asked for no cheese, but they still put cheddar on it. We requested that the bacon be crisp, and they did great with that. The cream cheese had a slight off taste compared to what we're used to (Philly brand cream cheese).
Coffee was pretty good.
So, what we had was good. There's no reason to avoid them. But it was not great, and would be crushed by most bagel shops back home, maybe because we're a lot closer to New York.
Oh, and they need to update their website. Prices in the store were quite a bit higher than what's posted online.

I buy bulk everywheat bagels every week, as I love to enjoy one toasted and dipped in veggie cream cheese every morning... and I've done so for at least a decade. Preston is closer but this time I had to go to Emmet. I'm very sad to say that both the bagels AND the cream cheese are ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. The seed mix is not right and missing salt altogether... Bagels are flat and taste like nothing... Cream cheese tastes and looks more plain. I will not be going back here anytime soon! :(
