These were perhaps the best tacos I have ever had, and the menu was expansive so there was truly something for everyone. We particularly loved the black beans (even a baby and the meat loyalists gobbled these up!). Wish we were from the area so we could go back…!

$10 for a breakfast burrito the size of a taco? Either inflation is at work here, or our expectations are descending to a new low. Good burrito but, for the price, I expect twice the size. Also, trying a bit harder, adding some pickled onions or jalapenos, some beans, etc. Just feels like these folks rely more on their location and, maybe, reputation than on creating inspired cuisine.

I LOVE this place. The only downside is sometimes when I order breakfast tacos in the AM I am waiting for quite a period of time..even when there’s no customers waiting…which sucks cause I have work. But other than that very small downside I love the food, I love the workers, and I love the convenience that it’s right next to where I work. So if I forget my lunch (which is quite often unfortunately) then I can just go here!! It’s not the cheapest but it’s not the most expensive but honestly their tacos are worth every penny in my opinion.
So we were seated at their table outside to eat and were approached by this guy on a bike, trying to talk to me while we engaged in conversation. We tried to tell him we're not interested in chatting, and he became irrate; loudly cursing me out, calling me all kinds of demons and devils quoting bibles and things. We thought he was going to walk over and attack me, but the guy who served us came out to get him to leave, but by that time, I was terrified and just shaking. We waited until we were sure he's gone before we walked to the parking lot, when lo and behold, another one showed up before we got up. This time, a female who begged for money for food as we were getting ready to leave. Mind you, we didn't know if she was an accomplice or a friend to the first guy, so we assumed she was on the lookout for him. She was begging for money.
Something has to be done about the safety of patrons at this place. The server said he is a regular and perhaps bipolar but if they know this, why were they so slow to come out when he clearly was trying to come over to us. I had to place a call to their restaurant while sitting right outside before someone started walking our way. This is not safe, and it's very scary. Someone is going to be physically attacked one of these days.

(Note: There are TWO Brazos locations in Charlottesville) This location is inside an "art park" so there's a lot of interesting things to see. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating. They have things clearly marked vegan on their menu, including four premade tacos.
The tacos here were delicious, and the bartenders were super friendly and easy to get along with. They let us try a small taste of a ghost pepper tequila that was easily the spiciest thing I've ever tried- not for the faint of heart. The beef taco definitely stood out the most, but you can't go wrong.
Very cool location!!!
