Ordered a BBQ chicken sandwich for lunch and it's amazing! The bread is not big, but man they loaded the sandwich with delicious bbq chicken! Skipping throught the reviews and I saw some complaints on food size... Are you kidding me... the sandwich is less than $4. Plus, a bag of chip is half dollor with fountain drink at 1 dollar.TBH, I'm impressed with their low prices. If you have trouble accepting it, then you haven't gone out eating much.
Menu has really deteriorated. They claim 80% of their business was cut when they put in the bypass. We frequented this place when we could because it was so delicious...the food is good but they aren't able to offer as much as they used to....maybe they'll change locations.
This is a nice little sandwich shop in Albemarle Square. My wife and I stopped in for lunch recently and very much enjoyed it. The sandwiches are prepared fresh and they're not skimpy on ingredients ... I had the Shrimp Po'Boy and was pleasantly surprised at all the perfectly-fried shrimp spilling out of the roll. It's only open for lunch Monday through Friday, but they appear to do a good take-out business.
