So glad we last minute decided to try this food truck out while staying nearby for a wedding. The food was so much better than we could’ve guessed it to be. Pictures don’t do it justice.

Amazing food and large portions for the price. We tried the Philly Cheesesteak combo and the chicken quesadilla combo. The Philly cheesesteak was one of the best I’ve had in the area and wasn’t super greasy like most are, and the chicken quesadilla was HEFTY and tasted amazing. Can’t wait to come back and try the shrimp po boy next time!
just left catch the chef after ordering a crab sub and a chicken teriyaki sub..now I'm thinking about the next time ima go back..do yourself a favor and go this

We’ve had Catch the Chef several times and it was very good. Hot and fresh & consistently good no matter what we ordered. We visited a few weeks ago and the food was such a disappointment. Gave them another chance tonight and worse experience. The food was cold, soggy, and thrown together. Will not be back.

Wow! What a menu and such good food. If you’re hitting local wineries or breweries, heading up to the National Park/Skyline Drive, or just looking for good local eats - this is your place.
This is probably one of the few places in town that reminds me of home which is Las Vegas! The loaded fries are perfection and every time I eat here it's junk food heaven in my opinion. As long as I live in Charlottesville I'll keep on coming back. This is definitely a go to spot and sometimes I even catch their food truck. I can't wait to try their wings and pizza, but so far all of the fries I have had are the best in town! Everyone is always super nice and chill, and the local community seems to love this spot. I'm all for it!

Phenomenal food truck! We got the Loaded Chicken Jerk fries and a Chicken Philly sub. Price was perfect for the portions, food was hot and no shortage on taste! They have 4 tables in front of the food truck and ample parking. Came here on a recommendation and will definitely be back.
