As one who makes cakes for everyone else, I always order my own Birthday Cake from Chandler's. Absolutely everything you want in a Birthday Cake!! Perfect!!

We've been in this bakery several times, and the cakes and breads are always consistently delicious, and perfectly cooked. The staff here are very friendly, and the selection is fantastic.

I had a fantastic experience, I got two very tasty cakes (the pound cake and the chocolate mousse cake) for my graduation and they were delicious and easy to order and pick up. The loaf of bread that I bought when I picked up the cakes was really good too!

My husband and I stumbled into this bakery today while we were in Cville, they were very sweet and explained what each dessert was that we asked about. We picked out an eclair, a black and white cookie, a radio bar and one other dessert bar that I can’t remember the name of now. Everything was absolutely delicious! I will definitely be back when I’m in town again!

Extensive options for whole cakes and slices of unique cakes, cookies and pastries. Our lemon coconut cake was large and flavor very nice, exterior coconut was a bit dry but easily happens when in a refrigerated unit. Some nice looking whole chocolate cakes options. Cakes are expensive all over town but in line. Nice pleasant service!

My favorite birthday cake is cannoli cake. My husband usually gets it elsewhere but came to Chandlers bakery this year. We've gotten other things here in the past. They told him he had to choose between a rum soaked or cherry soaked cannoli cake. He said he didn't want either. Just a plain regular cannoli cake. That's what I like!! He was told he had to pick one of the soaked versions because that's how they do it. It wouldn't be overpowering in taste. Well... they lied. It was absolutely disgusting. All I taste is rum and I can't eat this nasty cake. Thank you for ruining my birthday and making him take something he didn't want. You could have made it without soaking it in anything!!! What a waste of $50. You also closed the lid on the top of cake and took all the writing off of it. Either way, it was disgusting. If I wanted a bottle of rum, I would have drank one.

Picked up some red velvet cupcakes for my husband’s birthday. They were to die for!! Service was speedy and very friendly and accommodating!

Picked up a so-called Coconut Cream Pie. What a complete fail on their part. It is mot even close to a real Cream pie. Crust left a grease after taste. The cream was a small layer of store brought vanilla pudding with a quarter inch of coconut under it, not even blended into the cream. Topping had a slight off putting taste due to the fact it lacked a slight touch of sugar. They diffently need to hire someone that knows how to bake. Seems like there quality has gone way down in the past few years.

I have been a long time fan of this bakery but seems quality has declined. Cheaper ingredients, inexperienced cake assemblers. Left with a lop sided cake.

Still poor quality for high prices. Not sure how they’re so popular. The cakes just aren’t good…

Our wedding cake and cupcakes were amazing! Chandlers was flexible with different flavor combos and it all came out delicious. There was a minor mix-up with decorations on the cake but they all came out beautifully anyways and looked great at the reception. Chandlers is a great choice both for casual events and formal ones like weddings, they make everything with care and you won't be disappointed.

I just called to order a cake and whomever answered the phone was very rude and unprofessional with me. I wasn't even given the opportunity to ask questions because I was immediately cut off. What a way to run a business! I will order my friend's cake from another establishment; one that will appreciate new business and knows how to talk/treat customers on the phone!
