Citizen Burger Stand

The dairy market is a vibe but this food was way too expensive for the quality. It didn’t come with cheese on either burger either. I left a review on the other page by mistake. I left with a metallic taste in my mouth. Fries were the only half way decent part of the meal. Very disappointing. I should have just took the fact the people who worked there last time were incapable of speaking. I won’t return. The worst food I’ve had in a long time. The price for the food is not even ok.

This was our dinner spot for the day we arrived in Cville after a 4 hour drive. It took a stroll on their pedestrian mall and settled in here. Surprisingly, they did not offer any local wines. My wife had their Grilled Cheese sandwich while I had their Southern Burger with fried pickles. We enjoyed our meals except the fried pickles which I did not finish. Our waiter, Will was upbeat, attentive and efficient. The restaurant had plenty of seating including some at the counter and some outside seating. Plenty of tv's to watch sports action.

Terrible quality. Terrible beef. Over cooked onion poor flavor. So bad after one bite I put it down and homeless guy came by and I gave it to him. He probably threw it away too.

nice location with outdoor seating on the mall. lots of options for burger design, gluten free buns, skimpy on the cheese.

Late lunch or early dinner 3:00 on Wednesday. This place is always so crowded it is hard to get a seat during the normal meal times. Sat outside on a beautiful day and had excellent food served by Will. The burgers, regular fries, and sweet potato fries were delicious. The fresh mushrooms were wonderful. Love sitting outside on the mall....until the rude management at Sal's next door started up a leaf blower and blew the leaves into our seating area and on us. The noise was very loud and the Sal's employee did not heed any request to stop. Sal's should either use a broom or vacuum to pick up the leaf debris and not scatter it on guests at other restaurants.

We had a Citizen and classic burger. They are huge and very tasty! Upgraded to truffle fries they were wonderful. Great service and neat atmosphere. Parked in garage block away.

Visited yesterday on a busy Sunday afternoon. We were seated as the last couple before the wait list started. Even though they were busy we were waited on in a timely manner. Everyone there seemed to work as a cohesive team and were friendly and accommodating. Ordered the onion rings as an appetizer. They were huge and tasty. Could have been a little more done but the kitchen appeared to be slammed. We ordered our burgers on potato buns, which was an option. The buns were not very substantial . We apparently should have went with the house bun. Drinks came as needed and all and all it is was a great experience

We picked this restaurant based on reviews and it didn’t disappoint us. The burgers were big, juicy and delicious. The six of us order different types of burgers and they were all great. The fries were and the side salads were also very good. We highly recommend this place if you are looking for burgers

We loved our evening dinner on the mall at Citizen Burger. Service was great, waiter was attentive and fun to talk to, and the food is amazing. Highly recommend!! Sweet potato fries are the best ever!

We were in town for a wedding and visited downtown, decided to eat here for lunch. The burgers were delicious (finished eating with a fork because they are also a little messy!) the fries were great, and the service was exceptional. Highly recommended!

If you only care about beer and ambience then this is your place but if you are ñike us expecting to find the best local food PLESE DON'T. After driving couple hours to get in town, we stop by after a recomendation made by a local. We got 2 hamburgers and 1 came with uncooked fries and the other one came with re fried fries. The bread was kind of old.

Not at all like the full Citizen Burger restaurant. Mediocre burger, very disappointing fries. Especially for the price. Another bad food option at the Dairy Market.
