“We stumbled upon Grit a year ago when my husband was looking for a great pour over coffee. The baristas are always super helpful and he loves their single origin pour overs. It’s one of our favorite go to coffee places in Charlottesville.“

“I have been here twice and can say this location has very nice seating options! For some reason, however, it has a bit of a smell- not exactly sure what but it is unpleasant. I have gotten a latte each time, which is not the best I have had in Cville but not bad. Service is fairly quick and the baristas are skillful.“

“A nice cute trendy and classy...coffee shop...great stop after walking the outside mall...dessert was delectable...tea was excellent...tea served in nice coffee mug...not a paper cup...which added a nice touch...atmosphere was nice and casual...great experience!“

“Enjoyed a cortado & scone and was looking to try a pour over as well. Olivia the barista was very knowledgeable and helped guide me to an amazing coffee for the pour over. Had to pick up a bag of beans. Highly recommend if you're looking for great coffee.“

“The smell that welcomes you in this place is amazing! Had a light roast from Brazil. High quality beans and they know how to roast. Great people, had conversations with the baristas. Gotta stop her for a cup if you are in Charlottesville. The whole warehouse area has an amazing arts vibe.“
