Fun laid-back taco bar. Food is always delicious, service is quick. A neighborhood jewel.

Food was excellent.

Local favorite. Great southwest menu with fixed menu and the daily specials keep it intriguing.

The black bean nachos were incredible. I haven’t had nachos this good in probably 10 years.

I got the Carnitas which was crispy sweet and spicy deliciousness.

The House Margarita was delicious. Perfectly sweet.

Small, friendly, delicious. Arrive early or be prepared to wait for a table. It's a small, popular, local spot with a limited # of tables. While the booths can comfortably sit 4 and 6 if you're friendly, once they fill up you'll find there's limited space to wait for a table to open up.

Great food, always packed. This is a real Cville gem. Amazing selection of tequila. The beer list is not great. The nachos and enchiladas are very good. The only downside is that it's super-crowed and gets loud.

Service is always great, but $18 for a “special” taco on a cold, flaccid, mission corn tortilla is obnoxious. Charge me $20 with high quality tortilla, or $10 for warm double stacked mission ones. CD is so much better than the meal I just had.

Vibe 10/10, Margs 10/10, the nachos, enchiladas, and tacos were a tad underwhelming

Red hot blues are still the best nachos in Charlottesville and maybe anywhere. Also highly recommend their house margaritas

Food is just not good. Nachos are made with shredded cheese instead of queso which clumps all the chips together in one solid block. Burrito looks appealing but tasted bland and flavorless. Wife left hungry. Service was fine.

It's one of those iconic spots in Cville, there is generally a wait to get a spot

Nice little hole-in-the-wall food joint. I ordered the nachos with chili. The plate was huge and shareable. The chili topping was good, but I wish I would have tried with the beans instead. It came with a nice big serving of guacamole on top, which was my favorite part.

They were very busy when I went in, which was on a Tuesday. I sat at the bar, and it took a little bit for the bartender to wait on me, but that is to be expected when they are that busy. She was friendly.
