Having spent the majority of my study time at UVA in various cafes in an attempt to try them all this place tops the list. The friendliest service, best pastry’s and great coffee!
What a lovely bakery! Tucked on the side of a shopping center, you’d never know it’s there. Everything I tried was fabulous, the staff were friendly and unpretentious, and the shop gets beautiful morning light which creates a cozy vibe to enjoy your coffee and a pastry.

Cou Cou Rachou is a phenomenal French bakery in Cville run by women — it’s adorable and quaint, smells like expensive butter, and the pastries are delicious!
