This is a top notch bakery for bread, cookies, pastries and pies. The eclairs are insanely good and the holiday pie selection is out of this world. Stop in for a nibble and a coffee and stock up on the most high quality baked goods. Gluten lovers heaven!

ABC is an informal but perfect place for breakfast. There is large selection of croissants, muffins, and other temptations. They are still operating under an abundance of caution, so there are still no inside tables set up, but there are a few outside along a busy stretch of Main Street.

I picked up French macarons, lemon flavored, chocolate croissants, almond croissants, coconut macaroons with bottoms dipped in chocolate and a bag of granola. The French macarons were very very good. Fresh, and perfect. The chocolate bottomed macaroons seemed a bit dry, and lacking. The chocolate and almond croissants were not at all what I was expecting, which was a true French croissant. The chocolate wasn’t right, but I can’t put my finger on why, and the size ratio of croissant to chocolate seemed off. The almond croissants were not true French almond croissants, where they split them horizontally and spread almond cream then put them back together. There was a tiny little ball of almond cream inside instead. Was very disappointed in the croissants. The granola was also just ok. They do have many things to choose from, so I’m sure they have other things that are very good. Was just disappointed this time.

ABC is great for fresh bread, cookies, pastries and fancy cakes. Outstanding! They have a variety of breads which rotate by day of the week. Come here for elegant fondant enrobed cakes, made with love and artistry.

This is by far the best place to satisfy your sweet tooth in all of Albemarle County, and one of the best in Virginia. The offerings are consistent, plus and minus a few seasonal items. Parking is hit or miss, but forget about that because this place is a must-visit.

Recently on a weekend trip happened across this bakery and was glad that I did. Excellent scone, I chose the lemon/blueberry. The bakery case was so tempting. Recommend a stop here when you are in town.

They had some of the best pastries, breads and desserts in Charlottesville. A little pricey but really yummy. I stop pass a couple time a month to treat my self.
I ordered a birthday cake from this baking company as recommended by a friend. When I called the bakery, the person I spoke with was very helpful in recommending different cake flavors and frostings. The cake was for two celebrants with different tastes so it got a little tricky. However the resulting cake tasted amazing and everyone enjoyed it! Hope to visit the actual bakery the next time I’m in Charlottesville.
