Loved our visit here! Wonderful people and the beer is phenomenal! The Oktoberfest was one of the best that I have had. And no worries if that is not on tap because all the beer we tried was good. This is a must visit brewery! They have pizza and pretzel which everyone was enjoying and they are dog friendly which is a plus. 10/10!

My darts game got significantly worse after a bourbon barrel-aged Karabash and I thought I would take a star off for that but nah, I think I can let it slide 😆.
But seriously, the brews were good, the fire pits warmed well in a cold evening, and the indoor ambiance was pretty cool. Would return if I returned to Charlottesville.

Someone said the food wasn’t very good; this is not a place to get food specifically! Food is the afterthought; this is all about the beer, and the beer is excellent across-the-board! Has been for years, and consistency is a great barometer. Go for the beer! You can always order beer and have it delivered.

Ordered the Snowball Chance Largar and pepperoni pizza here, it is the best Largar I have tasted in USA. And the pizza is a good choice too. I explored the community gardens on the back and found tons of wonderfully grown vegetables there, esp Basil. Wish I had some basil on my pizza. Overall it's a fun experience.
