Ian and E. on 6/7/25, were fantastic and so welcoming today. We are visiting from DC and they had the best hospitality and conversation. We are absolutely coming back, in hopes to see them and enjoy the amazing atmosphere again!
The bartender Erick and cook Nick are awesome people. Very friendly and personal, they both recognized us as soon as we walked in. We brought the motorcycle from Fredericksburg to see them and have amazing food and drinks. I had the BD Cuban Sammie with the German potato salad, and the wife had the Garlicky Caesar Salad.
Absolutely fantastic spot for after work drinks, meeting up with friends, or just enjoying some solo time. Erick, Nick, Taylor, Michael, and Charles are top-notch and very attentive to customers' individual needs. Best thing they've introduced recently is their Smash Burger menu; the Bourbon Orange Smash sauce is out of this world good. From the atmosphere to the staff, it's always a good time at Devil's Backbone Backyard.
