This place keeps getting worse and worse every time I go. Went yesterday and the tables are always dirty. The drinks are always a miss. The diet Pepsi tastes like sweet tea and they keep giving me gas water when I ask for sprite. Atleast its priced affordability.

Great food, with a good selecting and fast service. This is our go to Mexican restaurant north of Charlottesville. Great for pickup as well, and always filling. They did a great job with a quesadilla and milk for our toddler to make sure things were as mess-free as possible: no extra sauce, mostly spill-resistant cup with a straw, etc.

I decided to take my mom for lunch today since we hadn’t been back in a long while and love this place previously… When we arrived we were warmly greeted by the hostess and seated, the server came not too long after and took our drink orders. When she came back with our drinks we placed our food order and although the food came a lot quicker, the server was nowhere to be found… We sat there waiting and seeing if they would pass by but it seems the servers were hanging around the bar just socializing instead of checking in on their tables. Food was delivered by the hostess and we never saw the waitress that took our orders initially again… No problem if everyone is helping out but we had empty drinks and no napkins and we had to get up to find some help as no one bothered to check… The place is virtually empty as you can see in the pictures submitted and not once were we asked if our food was okay or something as simple as offering a refill on a glass of water that was empty.. I work in hospitality and customer service as well and know it can be a bit overwhelming if it’s busy but at this time there was only two other tables besides me and my mother. This definitely affected our experience as they weren’t attentive only when dropping off the check and after that it was quick… If it’s that slow checking on tables once after food arrives shouldn’t be too hard to do with as many staff that they had in the restaurant hanging out at the bar.

Drinks /Margs especially togo drinks provide little to NO ALCOHOL and you can only apparently get the large size which is $10... you are better off getting a 7/11 slushy for $2... I think the restaurant think we are stupid? And or dont have tastebuds... WONT BE BACK!

The food we were served tonight was honestly appalling. I hope I do not get food poisoning. We ordered the combo # 10 and the burrito. Out of all of these things, the FREE chips and salsa was the only good out of it. The food was COLD AND BLAND. Very noticeably microwaved. The enchilada was NOT even done. The quesadilla was stuffed with unseasoned boiled chicken. Then to top it off the whole meal was coated in cheese sauce that literally had the consistency of water. My husband’s burrito was bland and cold as well. What is going on? Mexican food should not be bland, at all. I reached out to them, because I was very upset with what I had paid for. Unfortunately, I couldn’t understand what he was telling me to do. I think he wanted me to box the food back up and bring it back to them to remake. We are already home and didn’t want to go back out. Not to mention we do not want food from this establishment EVER again. So, I just disconnected the call and threw this nasty waste of $30 away.

Always enjoyed this place but last night they would not honor a $5 coupon I had purchased through the Attractions discount book because it was on my phone. Attractions has a mobile app where not only can you use the paper coupons in their coupon book but you also get electronic coupons for your phone. They should have honored it because they agreed to be part of the Attraction discount program. No big deal but it was embarrassing to be denied.
Very good service and food was done well. Price was very reasonable, entree at $12 and$3 for the drink.
I was looking for a classic Mexican restaurant with a classic menu. Salsa was good and service was nice.
It's convenient to several hotels and gives me an opportunity to visit somewhere local while on business. I'll be back when I'm back in Charlottesville.
