Emmy Squared Pizza: Charlottesville

We got the Founder and Angel. While the flavors were great the angel had too much ricotta overpowering the other toppings. The server was friendly but was only at our table 3 times, once to take our order, once 20 mins into the meal and once to bring the bill. She was too busy talking with the other staff to help us and there were only 3 other tables in the restaurant. We won't go back

We had a wonderful meal at Emmy²! First time having Detroit style. I don't know if it's pizza, but I know it's delicious! The folks are friendly and enthusiastic. It's a bright, fun atmosphere. Very clean and modern. My mouth is watering just writing the review. 10/10.

The staff are so friendly and fun especially Jasmine and Toya, and Ashley the manager is so fabulous!! I come here all the time and will continue to come back not just cause the goop is banging but the staff are wonderful!

Ordered hot chicken pizza and no bone wings. The pizza was terrible with hunks of chicken that appeared to have been thrown on the top after the pizza was baked? The chicken was dry . For 62.38 not worth it at all. Very disappointing...

The pizza was absolutely delicious. We ordered a pepperoni, pickled jalapeño and hot honey pizza and a Caesar salad and it was all delicious. Our waiter was awesome. It’s a lovely bright well decorated atmosphere too!

Unreal but inconsistent. This last order was underbaked (each item from pizza to zeppolis were pale white)

Will be back but request they bake it all more

Edit: came back for round 3. Having some weird experiences. First visit was some of the best pizza I’ve ever had, the rest have been disappointing. Will be a while before I give it another chance

Pizza is great. But perhaps more importantly, customer service is great. Our take home pizza ended up more burned than we would’ve liked and they fixed it immediately- offered a credit or replacement pizzas. When I picked up the new pizzas, they gave us a Caesar salad on the house. Everyone is nice.

I stopped by here with my son today and I ordered a small cheese pizza for him. He loved it, and we had some leftover for tomorrow. We will come back again with my wife so that she can try it.
