Had brunch at Fig and it was outstanding. The flavors were fresh and unique, portions were perfect, and everything came out quickly even though the restaurant was busy. The drink specials were also amazing. This is definitely becoming our go-to brunch spot.

Fig is easily one of the best dining spots near UVA. The food is consistently delicious, the cocktails are creative, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The staff makes you feel like family the moment you walk in. You can tell the owners truly care about the experience. Highly recommend for brunch or dinner!

Visited Fig for the first time. The hostess, Simona, went above and beyond to help us find the right table to cater to our puppy. Our server, Leyla, was so patient and sweet as our large group took forever to decide on orders. Josie was also a sweetheart and helped explain the items further. What a great group of waitresses/hostess- Will definitely be back!!!

Fig is one of my favorite spots in Charlottesville! The food’s always great, the drinks are great, and the vibe is perfect — chill but classy. Brunch, dinner, or just drinks, Jambalaya is very good.

When you have an 8pm reservation and you eat, they close at 9pm, but at 9:15 the bar tender turns off music and yells across restaurant that everyone needs to leave… not a good way to get return customers. I can understand if we were there 30 min past closing, but 15 min really?

We had a very nice dinner for Restaurant Week-watermelon Gazpacho, Med Salmon, and bread pudding. Service was friendly and attentive. My husband commented to our server that he wished there was a chocolate dessert on the RW menu-our desserts came to us with a delicious chocolate sauce on them. Thanks to our server and the chef! We always have a good experience here.
Food was good l. Service was good. Restaurant is a bit on the small side with limited seating. Enjoyed my meal and service.

Brunch at Fig Bistro & Bar in Charlottesville isn’t complete without the Figmosa—their bold take on the classic mimosa. Blending sparkling wine, fig juice, and a splash of vodka, it’s a smooth, flavorful upgrade that pairs perfectly with dishes like chicken & waffles or bacon chocolate chip pancakes. Served weekends from 9:30 AM to 2 PM, Fig is a must-visit for a brunch that’s both comforting and elevated.

Great food and good service, but was disappointed that they charged us a service charge for using a credit card with no notice in advance--just tacked it onto our bill. Needs to be posted somewhere on menu or website.
In town for a large family event last Saturday night. Confirmed a reservation for 10 and arrived to a table set for 8. Staff was politely disagreeable about making any sensible adjustment to table location in mostly empty restaurant so my husband and I sat at a 2 top adjacent to our group. My sister (completely different name) had a table for 8 and we thought we could possibly slide our two top to join them - but again, staff declined that simple request. Lots of sincerest insincere apologies. Overheard staff desiring to close by 8pm. Service was rushed. A server spilt melted butter all over my husband’s overcoat. She was again apologetic and offered to pay a cleaning bill but as we were Charlottesville visitors, would be difficult to collect on that. My gracious husband took it in stride and we elected to enjoy dinner. The food was awful. I had a chicken dish with perogies - obviously re-heated food, old dry chicken. I could warm up fresher leftovers in a microwave. My husband’s salmon was questionable and he couldn’t eat it. The waitress collected our still full plates as we ended dinner. No questions asked. We didn’t wish to make a fuss about the glaring ridiculousness of poor service and disgusting food for the sake of our party - who later expressed their dissatisfaction with their food. My husband paid the full bill and I am sure he tipped the staff because that is his genuine nature. As we collected our belongings to leave with our party, staff suddenly blared loud and fun dance music… to move us along. We were on the sidewalk and the lights were already turned off. Bizarre.
Fig is a really nice restaurant with a great atmosphere. The food was perfect, and we had a wonderful night.
Visited fig today with large group and it was delightful, very warm inviting atmosphere. Service was prompt and friendly, enhancing our overall experience. The coffee was robust and well-brewed, making it the perfect companion to our meal. Fig is definitely worth a visit. I'm already looking forward to my next trip!
