Fig is one of my favorite spots in Charlottesville! The food’s always great, the drinks are great, and the vibe is perfect — chill but classy. Brunch, dinner, or just drinks, Jambalaya is very good.
When you have an 8pm reservation and you eat, they close at 9pm, but at 9:15 the bar tender turns off music and yells across restaurant that everyone needs to leave… not a good way to get return customers. I can understand if we were there 30 min past closing, but 15 min really?
We had a very nice dinner for Restaurant Week-watermelon Gazpacho, Med Salmon, and bread pudding. Service was friendly and attentive. My husband commented to our server that he wished there was a chocolate dessert on the RW menu-our desserts came to us with a delicious chocolate sauce on them. Thanks to our server and the chef! \n We always have a good experience here.
