What a blissful little market that appeals to all of your senses once you walk through the door. Many healthy potted plants for sale, chilled homemade pies, baked goods (must try shortbread cookies!), thoughtfully crafted displays with all types of gifts for any occasion including children's books! I bought 4 different kinds of shortbread cookies (you can buy a jar full of one flavor or individually wrapped bigger versions) which I did! I love each cookie I tasted and you can tell they made with care! Kelsey and the Found Market team are amazing!

deep in the neighborhoods of cville, past the normal bounds of college students lay a cute little dessert/ coffee/ market shop called found. One day two college girls looking for a place to chill wandered through yelp, then, they FOUND found! The end. Cute ~natural~ vibed shop that has ALL the little plant babies and beeswax candles one can ask for. Not to mention games, coffee, desserts, AND a leaning floor to have sideways convos!! the owners run their own shortbread cookie business and decided to open up a store front with WAY more than just shortbread cookies. Super cool place to go hang out, do some work, munch on some homemade baked goods and maybe buy some natural, local, and or unique crafts and such
If you go to Charlottesville put this on your list of places to check out. I don't know how they make their cookies but dang they're good! After trying the shortbread I had to buy them for my family and friends. I can't say enough good things about the owners, they are beyond welcoming. Thank you all and I will be back.

This place is a hidden gem I stumbled upon while visiting family. Their pecan buttons and rosemary cookies are worth the $7 a jar! The ambience of the store/cafe is warm and eccentric.
