Definitely a go to dumplings place if you need to grab a quick meal. Place could have improved as there are limited seats. But the food makes up for it for sure. Limited food options also but hey.. if you only want regular dumplings/gyoza, this place doesn’t disappoint.

Food is excellent. Had the steamed dumplings and cold noodles with peanut sauce. One of my best meals in Charlottesville. The vibe is more of a take out place. You are better off taking your meal to go and enjoying it on a bench on the UVA campus.

Food was tasty, but unfortunately service wasn't great. Staff were very unfriendly; I didn't feel welcome to be there and was spoken to with disdain. Maybe a bad night?

Great lunch, place, really like the combos. And you know it always tastes good… a friend of mine once said that we should meet for lunch there, but actually meant the pop-up truck at the amphitheatre, so if you’re making plans, be sure to doublecheck!

Nice spot for a snack/meal! I got the dumpling combo (w/ 1 side) and a bubble tea. It was a solid meal for $15. And you could keep yourself under $10 or $5 if had to and still grab a good bite! I'd probably be a regular if I was a UVA student.I will say finding parking was a bit of a pain... but it's a downtown shop and I'm not a local??♀️.

My personal favorite bubble tea ship!Come prepared knowing what you want, as the workers can get a bit impatient with questions.Still, super tasty tea and a great place to stop!

Stopped by to grab lunch after hiking in Shenandoah NP. It was almost empty when we walked it but filled up quickly behind us. There are half a dozen 2-top and 4-top tables, but I get the impression that most people order as takeaway.I got a dumpling+side combo, my husband got spicy ramen, and we both got cold bubble tea. Everything was absolutely delicious! The prices did feel a little high. $5/ea for the bubble teas, and $10+ for the mains. The location in a university footprint almost definitely influences pricing. Oh well.Parking: Be prepared to park streetside (free with a 2hr limit) or walk a distance.

First timers, loved the dumplings and bubble tea! We thought they were very good! You can tell this is a homemade peanut sauce it’s very thick, I make my own and this was excellent! Dipping sauce was perfect and not overly salty!Heck with the naysayers! Make your own decisions!

Went here on a Sunday evening for dumplings and boba tea. The dumplings were very good. The sauce was also good, but was more on the sweet side, while I personally prefer a more tangy sauce. I got the macha milk tea with boba. The macha did have a slightly gritty texture, but I expected that from a cold macha drink. The boba was soft and easy to chew, which I like but others might not. The restaurant is fairly busy, and there is not a lot of seating, so they seem to prep orders for takeout as the default. You can stay and eat there if you would like, but keep in mind that seating is limited. I would go back for the dumplings, and to try their other milk teas, but I would love to see a slightly more tangy sauce.Parking: Street parking is difficult to come by. There is a parking garage on the same block as this restaurant that offers paid parking during the day, and free parking in the evening.
Love this place! Best boba and dumplings in town! The staff is friendly too. :)
