I lived 5 min next to this place for 10 years and had never visited because it was in a golf course (Pen Park). Then during Covid I walked by and realized just how idyllic the location, tables out in the open overlooking the fields, most under tent canopies and distant enough from the course, with an additional enclosed space with heaters. And the food is just classic American fare at its finest. The sandwiches are the best in town (I've tried the major contenders, Sierra's sandwiches are simply better--her melted cheese BLT is almost as good as my mother's! Can't say anything more because she's waiting for me up there :) ). Also wraps, quesadillas, burgers, salads, and much more. Good, fresh, wholesome ingredients. Great blueberry pancakes and french toast and omelets for brunch. Very good wine at very decent prices. Great staff. Music events during spring. Open all through the year. What more can you ask? This place should be packed. Great for kids and dogs also.

Really good breakfast egg sandwiches, eggs made better than Bodos. Great setting.

Lovely outside seating. Nice selection of hot and cold sandwiches. Super attentive young folks serving as waitstaff. We had a nice reunion of our group after a year of Zoom meetings, and couldn't have chosen a better place. Easy to get to and very inexpensive. My only complaint would be bottled ice tea instead of brewed.

Pulled pork sandwich was okay. Coleslaw was awful. Enjoyed sitting in the shade under a big tree. Beautiful view.

The grill is a gem. It is like a winery in the middle of Cville. At least while covid has inactivated golfing. I'm sure it is nice at other times too, but less so unless you're a golfer.

The Grill is a very nice, casual place for breakfast or lunch. The food is all prepared on-site and the menu has a good variety. Beer and wine is available. All the seats offer beautiful views of a beautiful golf course.
