Loved our server Garrison. Excellent food choices. The stuffed mushroom appetizer was delicious as were the crab cakes and ravioli. Very nice ambiance and the price of the experience was very reasonable

I had the grouper special. It was ok. The fish tasted just a little old? More fishy tasting than grouper normally is. I also had the gazpacho and ended up sending it back. It was too much like salsa from a blender. The flavor was just off, odd. Service was very slow despite it not being a full dining room. My spouse got the French onion soup, which again was oddly flavored. Not a great odd either. For the price, we expected a lot better. We wouldn't recommend it and would go back.

Lunch was great, as always! Had the wonderful vegetarian "blue plate special" and it was varied, interesting, and delicious.

As always, an excellent experience. Delicious food, attentive service, lovely venue. I strongly recommend Hamilton's!

We had a nice table but it was really loud due to the bridal shower (party of eight) seated about one foot away from us. Food was great (loved the ravioli entrée and lamb meatball starter). Pinot Noir (by the glass) was a nice selection.

Hamilton's vegetarian blue plate special is always outstanding ! This is our favorite place to have lunch and sitting outside and beautiful weather is a treat. We will return again and again because it is always impeccable service and outstanding food.

It took 40 minutes before we received our initial drink order. But the food itself was delicious.

This was our first visit to Hamilton's and had a delicious dinner. The service was great and my Shrimp and Grits was generous and very tasty. My husband had the mushroom ravioli and enjoyed every morsel. We did not have any dessert but the choices looked good. Will be going again.

We had the crab cakes with sautéed spinach and rice. Crab cakes were ample and very tasty, and spinach was perfectly done. I had wine and hub had a mocktail with cucumber which unlike most, was NOT too sweet. Server was very pleasant.

We had an amazing dinner last night. The food and cocktails exceeded our expectations. Service was impeccable and the ambiance was cozy. There was even some acoustic music playing in the corner. 20/10 recommend!

We prefer to dine out early when restaurants are quieter. Hamilton's is lovely, impeccable service and food, a great selection of food and beverage choices. The serving staff is cheerful, helpful and not intrusive. Always a treat!

Restaurant is located in the Mall. It is closed off to traffic. Unfortunately, area is inundated with drug addicts and homeless. Homeless people are laying on the ground, wandering around and hanging around everywhere. It is just sad and unsafe. Restaurant is located next door to a Hemp store that was slammed. The door to the Hemp store was opening and closing non stop from the time we sat and the restaurant with a crazy assortment of people. I suppose pot is legal in Virginia. I would not go back to restaurant solely based on location. On our way out of Mall parking lot we noticed a homeless camp in a park. Food was ok. Way over priced for what you are served. Beet salad looked more like a tomato salad with a small number of small cut and tasteless beets. Chowder was ok. Crab cakes were $38 and were flavorless. Waitress recommended Ravioli and was ok but not worth $30. Salmon was good but was put on a plain, boring salad that was placed on a side plate. Charged $27 for the salmon but it was really an appetizer. Over all food was ok but over priced for what you get. I would not eat here again. Potential customers need to be informed this is a terrible location.

Food was awesome as were cocktails. A little pricey given atmosphere which was more than moderately loud.Damion was quite good as server.

We sat in a booth and the noise level was so low we did not have any trouble conversing. The brunch exceeded my expectations especially the cold melon soup.

I so enjoyed my visit to Hamilton and First. The food was delicious. I especially loved the stuff mushroom appetizer. Lastly, the service was first rate
