I have been to an affiliated Inka Grill location in Roanoke which was very good so it made sense to try this location in Charlottesville VA.
The restaurant seating area is kind of small but there were about 3 larger groups taking up most of the available space in the restaurant at the time I was there. Still found seating for 2 at a high top table, so not really a problem.

Food wise, the menu is filled with a wide variety of choices. I enjoyed both selections which were shared between my wife and me.

Steak with pesto linguine pasta was my favorite. The pesto pasta really popped with flavor. The other chicken dish with a creamy yellow sauce and rice was also very good, but I'd pick the steak & pesto again if I revisit this restaurant in the future. Also had a side of plantains which are always a nice compliment to South American cuisine.

The portion sizes are on the larger side and you shouldn't leave hungry and might need a doggie bag. We had a Passion fruit mousse for dessert which was tasty but not necessarily a must have dessert item. Other options for dessert are available if you have room for it.

My only complaint is that there isn’t one in Staunton! Fingers crossed that changes one day. In the meantime, I’ll happily drive to CVille for this immaculate cuisine!

The yucca was very soft and there was aji verde but not spicy, so I was a bit disappointed.

Incredible food! We got to go food and they were not generous with the sauces so if you love that green sauce like we do, make sure to ask for extra! Good portions for a good price!

Stopped for lunch today. Food and service were both great. We tried a couple of the desserts, delicious! Will definitely be back.

I didn’t expect to find Peruvian food in Charlottesville, but Inka Grill was a fantastic surprise! As someone who has enjoyed Peruvian cuisine often, I can confidently say this place hits the spot. The flavors were authentic, and the dishes were absolutely delicious. The drinks were just as impressive! Whether you’re new to Peruvian food or craving it, I highly recommend giving Inka Grill a try.

The paella was delicious which helped make up for the fact that they were out of all of the ceviche options. Service was meh, but good enough to enjoy the food. Area was very cramped with other patrons.

My son and I had a quick dinner at INKA Grill and I had low expectations based on the location right on the Corner. Well, they totally surprised me as the food was fresh, very tasty and came with great service. Being from the DC area, and having access to many outstanding Peruvian restaurants, it was nice to get blindsided by this little gem. We will be back. 👍🏽
