First visit. Love this place. Best ramen I’ve had in C’ville. I lived in Japan for many years and enjoy good ramen. I’ll be back. I had the Shio Ramen and substituted tofu for the chicken. Noodles were fresh and cooked well. Lots of veggies. Friendly helpful staff.

I paid $13 for ramen with 2 pieces of pork…that was all the meat! The food was bland and not to be desired at all! I ended up throwing it out and I don’t waste food but this was a TOTAL waste of money. The appetizers were better than the main dish ??♀️. Buy you some ramen noodles (6 for $1) from the grocery store and I assure you, they’ll taste way better…hands down!

The broth was very savory and the egg in mine was soft boiled.My brother ordered the spicy chicken ramen and it was a bit bland and a bit too spicy for my liking personally.The Ika Gesso was great!The noodles were pretty standard. Very close to the package instant ramen we all know and love. Some people will dislike that they aren't a thicker and more artisanal noodle, but I didn't mind it.Appetizers are delivered to your table by a robot. Noodles are delivered by hand so that they're less likely to spill I presume.Personally I'm not a ramen fanatic, but I enjoyed the food I got! Portions are large, but I expect them to be when I'm paying $15 for ramen noodles. ?

Fun ordering experience with a large screen and pictures with lots of add on choices. Easy to pay. Reasonable prices. Interesting food delivery robot. Delicious hot sake in a beautiful carafe. The 2 protein poke bowl I got was well presented with delicious flavor. Really enjoyed the seaweed salad's taste. Wish there was a little less overload on the rice and a little more toppings to even it out.

Some of the best ramen we’ve had outside of Japan! The cat robot was an added bonus that our kids especially loved.The ramen was nice and flavorful, and the karaage on the kids’ bowls was also yummy.

Omg first time here and the ramen was soooooo good my nephew who is a picky eater loved his bowl of ramen and couldn't stop talking about it! My oldest boy loved his bowl as well. The place was clean and nice looking the lady that works there was friendly and helpful because I didn't know how to order and what to order and she helped me out and she greated us very friendly and with a smile. The chefswas also nice I gave a very good compliment and told them a five star from me! I will return and try a new bowl ? I highly recommend stopping by!

I don’t usually write reviews but the noodles at this place literally looked and tasted like instant Raman noodles and were extremely bland and was very flavorless. I paid $15 for something I could have gotten for $3 and would have tasted better. Do not recommend.
Great ramen- some of the best I've ever had. Love the robot and the staff is super friendly. It's a go-to whenever I'm in town.

Great little ramen shop near UVA! I would highly recommend getting the Iso Iso Ramen. Pretty tech saavy - they even have a little robot come and deliver the food for you. Would go back.

Even though it's a small town, this restaurant has no excuse to be this abysmal. It's $15 for the equivalent of instant noodles. 1) the ramen noodle is incorrect. They use rice noodles and bad rice noodles at that. 2) it's not a ramen egg. It's literally a fully boiled egg with a hard egg yolk. 3) I don't know what broth that is but it's the equivalent of powder instant noodles broth that is flavourless. If you're a student, save your money. If you have taste buds, go somewhere else.

Solid ramen shop. They offer many variations on broth and toppings. The Tonkatsu with Chasu is my favorite. It’s not Tokyo but very good ramen. Better than many Asian restaurants that serve ramen out of a can. Extremely fresh poke with lots of flavor. Much better poke that found at clueless high end restaurants. Robots! Robots bring your order to the table.
