I've only been a couple of times, and had bubble tea, and thai ice cream. Both were really good. I want to try other menu items whenever I'm in the center. I hope the business makes it - I love having such variety. Customer service has been very nice and patient - I had lots of questions since this type of treats is still new to me. I like that you can get the drinks made with whatever level of sweetness you want. I'm a BIG fan of scooped ice cream, but this rolled ice cream is wonderful, interesting, fun and yummy. It does take a little more time, so just don't be in a rush.

Clean, modern space. Fast, friendly service. Food was ok. My savory egg crepe was sweet, I didn't expect that. Carefully prepared, generous portion, but sweet eggs just aren't my thing.

This was my first time going to J-Petal and I will probably not come back again. The cashier that took my order was very rude and when I was ordering it seemed like it was an inconvenience for me to order. I waited for about 10 mins for my drink as the cashier was on her phone and watching TV. I personally would not recommend this place to anyone who is looking for good customer service. The food that I got was okay, there was nothing special. Prices are pretty high. Half of the stuff on the menu isn't even offered anymore.

The food was good, but the service was absolutely atrocious. The cashier has her earbuds in the entire time and acted like I was an inconvenience to her. When I walked in, I wasn't greeted by anyone, and the cashier was sitting on the counter with her phone in her face. I had questions about the menu, and she just grabbed a takeout menu and pointed to things. When I asked for chocolate, she just blurted, "we're out of chocolate". She could of at least suggested an alternative, or been much kinder about it. The ice cream was fine, but at a price of 7 dollars for a cup, I can't justify buying this again. Ben and Jerry's is just a few steps away from this place. It has great employees, and a larger variety of flavors which all taste better then Jpetals.

Was in town visiting my baby girl. Needed some mill tea... my daughter brings me here. Nice staff, sweet treats. Beautiful room. I would go again

My husband and I were incredibly excited to try this place because we love unique concepts and fun, new foods. When we walked in, the girl sitting at the back table on her phone looked irritated that we opened the door. She was wearing athletic shorts and a dingy tee shirt with an attitude that suggested immensely hungover. She did not attempt to explain anything on the menu or interact with us in any way. It cost almost $30 for two crepes and a tea. We found out after we paid that the only flavor ice cream they had was vanilla, so husband's was modified. It came out one piece at a time. Based on service, I wanted to give the place a 1 Star, but holy crap that fruit was FRESH. The little heart jellies in the tea we're not hard at all. The crepes don't have a lot in them, but are still incredibly filling. We might see if a coupon shows up in the Barracks mailer to try again, but overall the price and atmosphere didn't make it worth the great food

Go to J-Petal!! This place is amazing!! Friendly little sit in area. We went for there dessert but ended up with one ice cream and 3 drinks! The Green Hulk is ice cream mixed with an oreo and half a banana. They chop the ice cream up and roll it up right in front of you. Delicious!! And the Taro Lover drink is soooo good!! Definitely a place to check out!!

I was really looking forward to trying a rolled ice cream place, and was excited by all the fun toppings and yummy add-ins, but was ultimately unimpressed especially by the high price. It was almost $8 for a cup of ice cream that I could easily have gotten with more generous toppings/mix ins from a froyo chain or Cold Stone for half the cost. The interior is new and clean, but that's really only one of the highlights. Overall, fun to watch them make the rolled ice cream, but not worth the price tag.

Absolutely love J-Petal, they have the best milk tea in town. The place has a really cool vibe and a ton of different tea/crêpe/ice cream options to choose from. I highly recommend the chocolate Thai rolled ice cream, it's so rice and decadent.

Good place for rolled ice cream and crepes. I always wanted to try their crepes but I just couldn't. Their drinks was not as good.

I wish I could give it five stars- but it barely gets three. It really should be two. The crepes are delicious and I love the idea of a gluten free fruit filled desert. I used to be a regular customer and a high tipper. But I became resentful as every time I came in and was treated as if the cashier was inconvenienced by the trouble of taking my order. Never greeted with a friendly "hello" or a polite "thank you." They grudgingly take your order between phone scrolling and cigarette breaks. They don't take the trouble of washing hands or putting on gloves after handling money or handling their phones. They seem to have no interest in return customers, or even minimal polite customer service. They seem overworked, bored, resentful and underpaid. We won't be back.

I have to admit I was a bit surprised walking into this dessert spot. The ambience was very contemporary and relaxing. There are two water tanks that really highlight a central art work which I really enjoyed. The place itself was very empty for a Wednesday night, so I wouldn't not be worried about any wait. The ice cream it self was a little over priced and is nothing too special. I ordered the Nutella and banana rolled ice cream with servers toppings. I'd say it was very average with the toppings. Definitely not worth 7/8 dollars for this rolled ice cream. However, this restaurant is 4 stars solely for the ambience. I'd try out some other item menu items such as the famous bulb iced tea. I'd definitely recommend to anyone looking for the perfect date spot or looking for new places to try dessert.

I don't normally complain on Yelp but this purchase made me so upset. He gave me a partially empty drink and I asked for him to fill it up, which he refused. I also asked for no cucumbers in the drink. I tipped extra and paid $6 for a drink that's made wrong and not even filled up. :-(
