Went for a broasted chicken… and they didn’t have it on the menu anymore. So I went either a burger. Not bad. Certainly good for the price. Feel like I should’ve ordered the dog. Not sure if I will return.

Hubby and I came from out of town and heard that this is the local spot to enjoy delicious hot dogs and hamburgers; we were definitely satisfied! We enjoyed burgers, fries sodas and shared a slice of Lemon Meringue Pie. EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS!! The young man (home from college) who served us had IMPECCABLE customer service and was polite to EVERYONE who walked in. We will definitely visit again!! 5 Stars ?????(The Stewarts, Clinton, MD)

This is a Old family ran business that has been a part of cville for a very long time. Food is usually always good and hot. The bad thing is they don't take cards, only cash. There is no table service here, you get your own food and take it to your table. They fill your cup completely full of ice then charge you 60 cents for a refill. Service is slow even when they aren't that busy. The foot long Hot dogs are very popular and usually right good, however today that wasn't the case. All I tasted was Onions. It was a ton of diced Onions on this hot dog. Parking is very tight and can be difficult leaving. The building is very dated inside. We ordered 2 sweet teas, 1 footlong and 1 cheeseburger and an order of fries and it was over 30 bucks. So it's not a very cheap place either.
Great burger. They even put chilli on my hot dog because I was missing my Coneys. I've wanted ro come in here so many times and I am glad I did.Im going back for dessert next time. This is the kind of place that makes you think about writing a review while enjoying your meal.Thank you so much.

Found this gem and my first time visit, Sat 10/28/23. I always rather go to a local restaurant that care and are part of the community instead of chain places.Lovely little place. Actually have door to go in a small area for take out orders, another to go into the sit down restaurant. Nicely decorated, very clean, even the 1 shared restroom was very clean! A few locals were there with me. The only negative was they only take cash, but there is a ATM inside. I was having a hard time deciding what to order, I was down to the spaghetti on special or BBQ platter. I asked if it was possible to get a small bite to sample to help make my decision. I'm grateful that they were glad to. They both tasted so good, I wanted to order both, but decided on the spaghetti. It came with salad and bread.The lady that waited on me answered my questions, and sd she was new so she'd go ask the owner about my request.My food came out timely, salad was cold and spaghetti piping hot, as should be. All 3 staff/ owner I had contact with were friendly and efficient!I'll definitely be back the next time I have to come back to C'ville for an appt at UVA.Thank you for a enjoyable meal and experience.PS, I'm handicap, on a cane, and I found all area's are very easily accessible. Plenty of room in the extra wide booths and the restroom.Wheelchair accessibility: I'm on a cane but I think it looks like plenty of room to accommodate a wheelchair, in all areas of the restaurant, but not the door that goes into a small area to order food to go.
