Excellent spot with great food and cute atmosphere!

Fantastic find! This is a must stop!! We were on the way home from JMU and we are so thankful we found such a delicious lunch stop. The food is homemade and absolutely delicious. The service is fantastic, super friendly, and efficient. This is a gem, highly recommend this small business!

Had a small Ceasar sald with fried chicken and Jax burger with fries. Both were very good meals, cooked to perfection. Staff was friendly and great to talk to. Great stop on way home.

Great place and a great atmosphere. We came with 13 and they didn't even bat an eye! We were welcomed with open arms and tables. Our kids were treated as guest just as equally as we were. The food is well seasoned and delicious! I got the Jax burger with cheese and bacon!!! It was more than delish!! The fries are homemade shoestring style fries and were great! I would definitely recommend this for a nice dinner at a fair price!!!

Best 100% beef bologna burger around. Great customer service, owner came to check on us several times. The food is quality, homemade and is served in great portion sizes. Highly recommend you stop and try them out if you’re in the area.

Cool spot to grab a bite, and maybe a beer....soon. I love a new local business, especially a restaurant, and Jax's bar & grill is open! Slinging some pretty tasty eats. The bar part is not yet up and running yet, but that's okay. When it does, your gonna want to grab a cold one with some of the best fried pickle chips I have had in a while! I had the chili dogs with fries and my culinary companion, the grilled cheese with a side of mac and cheese. The dogs were great. The chili had that famous small town taste. Two will do ya! The grilled cheese was excellent. Lots of cheese! The service was just a little off, but to be fair, they just recently opened, and even the best of places will have to iron out the kinks. So that is really not a biggie, and I know it will smooth out with a little time. The place is nice and clean inside with plenty of seating. They also have outdoor seating that is Dog Friendly!! The restaurant, I believe, is named after the owners dog. So grab your hound or your human friend and go give Jax's a try! Update: another great meal at Jax's! Bar is now full swing, with an excellent selection of your favorite beer and spirits. The Jax burger was great. The fries were not my favorite cut but cooked well and not soggy or overdone. Service was smooth and pleasant. (Remember napkins lol!) The bar inside looked like a cool place to have a drink and watch a game. Folks, there is dog friendly covered outdoor seating! Not much better than good beer, good burgers, and a place where you can have them, with your hound! (And maybe a fry or two for the hound) so once again go get some good food served by awesome folk with your awesome dog! You may just meet Jax there!

First time trying this restaurant Food and service was very good. Nice and clean. Cute decor. The staff / servers were friendly. The owner walks around to make sure customers are happy with the food and well taken care of.

Delicious subs to go. I ate my soggy sub and soggy fries an hour after it was ordered and picked up. The best sub and fries in Crozet! Can’t wait to eat it there lol it’ll be better than I’ve had yet. Sal’s needs to catch up with their subs and add some seasonings to them. Sal’s Pizza is great.
