This is the first review I’ve ever written about a place.

so first let me just say as someone from Australia who takes massive pride in the quality of our coffee, I was blown away by how good the expresso coffee was, and even more mesmerised by how atmospheric and cute this little place is. This is the best coffee I’ve had in America so far

If you’re visiting Charlottesville or passing by, I highly recommend checking this place out.

I am going to repeat what another review here said: if you like good things in life, and especially if you like Earl Grey, Do yourself a favor: ask Selina to make you a London Fog. It's SO GOOD. Coffee here was very good too.

Do yourself a favor: If Selina is working, ask for a London Fog - if you like good things or Earl Grey tea. I recently got turned on to London Fogs by the former owner of Milli's in Cville and he told me Lone Light makes great ones. He was correct - and Selina makes the best one I have ever had. The customer service she and her colleagues provide is also among the best I have ever had. This shop is full of good people providing even better drinks and service. 10 out of 5 stars.

Great service, nice quiet interior & restroom, and great coffee. My only “complaint” are the prices: $4 small Americano and $6 latte. We will likely come back, because it was such a good experience, but I would be happier if the prices were a $1 less.

First off, amazing place to kick it. Has *the vibes*. Comfortable areas to post up. The staff is friendly and personable.

I ordered an iced latte, which is not normally my go-to since espresso usually tastes burnt. They only have premade chai so I opted for an iced latte since they said the espresso was good. I was skeptical, but they were right. I would routinely get an iced latte here if I lived in Charlottesville. 5/5.
