Sesame noodles are delicious as are the sesame balls. Not a fan of the bun. Steamed veggie dumplings good. Atmosphere could use some updates but the food makes up for it. Always prefer washable plates and utensils for eat in, none of which present to limit trash. Nice employees. To go is usually what I do.

I was excited to try this place driving through since I love dumplings, it’s local, and has high reviews. Unfortunately, I was left very disappointed. I had multiple dumplings and bao buns and everything was quite awful. Very oily and honestly seems like dumplings from a frozen bag. I would not recommend.

Marco and Lucas is my all-time favorite dumpling place. It is simply a Charlottesville staple. I have eaten here or grabbed takeout about at least 100 times. I no longer live in Charlottesville but when I visit, Marco and Luca’s is my first stop.
Parking: The Zan road location has plenty of free parking in a parking lot just outside the doorstep.
The best dumplings ? in Cville. The chile pepper sauce teriyaki sauce is so good! Always cooked and fried made to order. The entire menu is delicious. The owners are hands on and run a great business.

Incredible food, everything was delicious. Best Chinese food and dumplings I have ever had. The pork hot bun was incredible. Everything here is very hot, so let it cool for a minute or 2. If you order the hot and soup then you should pour the sauce from dumplings into the soup. Cools the temperature off a bit and makes it taste even better.

This was our first visit here. Both the lady and the gentleman were super friendly.I asked how spicy the chicken curry was (the special that day). She didn't try and explain, she just gave me a sample of the dish.The quality and freshness were just perfect. We will be regulars here. Beautiful folks, inside & out.
