Enjoyed the BEST wonton soup I've ever had. Teens devoured dumplings and chicken & curry.

Fair prices and very nice staff. Enjoyed sitting at the window counter and people watching.

Marco and Luca’s is a classic. When my daughter and I needed lunch in Charlottesville this is the first place she requested!

I'm always on the search for dumplings, so seeing this local chain caught my attention. With a limited menu, I had high hopes that they'd hit on all items. While the flavors were decent, I'm relatively sure this is pretty standard frozen steam buns and dumplings from an Asian market marked up quite a lot.

The dumplings seem extremely similar to the Way Fong frozen dumplings (probably my favorite brand of frozen dumplings), except they're deep fried and covered with a lot of sauce. The sauce and dumplings aren't bad, but the sauce overpowers the nice flavor of the dumplings.

The steam buns are fine, but I think they're reheating them in a microwave. What happens is the dough gets really tough/chewy within a minute or so once it's out of the microwave.

If you like the dumplings, check out Way Fong frozen dumplings.

I really do love the food here but every single time I have been here, the lady at the front gives us attitude and despite asking for two orders, she puts our order in one plate and bin - making it super inconvenient to eat and also very weird for friends who are stopping by for lunch. When I asked for an extra fork (because she only gave us one to share), she said no.

Fabulous place to stop in for delicious fried dumplings and stuffed pork buns in the heart of the downtown Charlottesville.

Located conveniently across from a coffee shop too.

A long time favorite in Charlottesville, the price has gone up over the years but still a delicious way to fill up for not much money. The fried dumplings are average, mass produced frozen dumplings. They are cooked and the fried to achieve that perfect crispiness. The sauce is the star. It is a combination of soy sauce, hoisin sauce and hot sauce. I have never been able to replicate it at home

Ordered 1 portion of the 7 piece friend dumplings and 1 drink (vit kit) for just under $10. Doable for a quick cheap eat.
The soy sauce was also good, I do wish it was a little spicier.
Can’t speak for any other items since I didn’t taste my colleagues food but they mentioned the bun wasn’t anything to rave for.
