Local owned, burgers, fries, excellent brisket. What's more to want?

We absolutely loved our brisket and pulled pork sandwiches and the collection of housemade sauces... Don't pass this place by.

Outdoor seating is the only plus here. Smal, very small portions. I can't eat bread, so... for $26.00 not including the tip, I got a a miniscule amount of meat, that was dry with no sauce, no sauce offered, and an even smaller amount of coleslaw, with a decent size of French fries on the side. I will not be back, that's more than I'd spend on a good burger, with fries and a drink included at a nearby location.

Food and service was fantastic. Used to go to Martins all the time and I am so happy they still have the burger. The brisket and Chicago beef was fantastic. Can't wait until our next visit

Well that was disappointing. I'd heard great things and the pulled pork was tasty, but the pulled pork bbq sandwich was short one thing - the bbq. No sauce, just dry pork and a little bit of cole slaw on a bun. It was carryout. If there was self-serve sauce somewhere nobody mentioned it.
Service was fast and friendly, but the missing step of making sure patrons had what they needed could use some improvement.

You pay and they ask for a tip before you get your food. We had never been there before so we did not know how it worked. You order and pick up your food at the counter. If we had known this before paying we would not have left as much of a tip. But, the food was really good.

Delicious food from Va BBQ! Brisket and onion rings were definitely something to write home about! The Mac and cheese and pulled pork were also very good. We got the platter and enjoyed the Texas candy and other pickles they included on the tray. Staff were friendly and food came out quickly. The outside seating was great but inside could use a lil more cleaning a face lift. Floors were a bit sticky. Sauce wise I’d say I prefer the taste of Mission but they did have six to choose from.

Same premises & decor as the previous establishment but the BBQ is great here. Brisket tender & smokey, fries crispy & other sides delicious. One down side is its massively busy at lunch on weekdays.

It’s meh and overpriced. Got the lonestar, cheese curds and pulled pork platter. Lonestar sandwich was decent but I wouldn’t get it again. $7 “shareable” cheese curd order was like 10-12 curds. Crispy and delicious but terrible portion. the platter was like half pound of pulled pork for $18, sides are barely visible: like 2 pickle slices, and the “Texas toast” is cold white bread. Overall the meal was about $45 and wasn’t filling for 2.

Ordered a couple of bbq sandwiches and slaw at the new location last week. Atmosphere was not good, chef seemed stressed and angry; staff was ill-prepared for anything other a couple of customers at a time, sandwiches were not prepared with care, and not so good. Not off to a good start. $20+ I wish I had back. :(
