After going to Japan the ramen is as close as it gets in the states. For a hole-in-the-wall in Charlottesville it’s honestly above and beyond. The spicy miso is my favorite in particular, often getting the karage or Ika as an app. The sushi is like fine but the show stopper is the ramen. Definitely worth a try!
We love this place! It’s a super easy and lovely go-to when we are meeting folks in Cville town. Never a wait or a hassle. My mom is a vegetarian and was especially delighted by their vegetarian ramen with so many veggie toppings and extras.
I would love to say I enjoy trying new places, but I really don't. I'm hungry and vegetarian and want to know when I get to a place that there will be options for me that I will enjoy. That said, this place was amazing and I am so glad we stopped here. My daughter, fiancé, and I all had different ramen and enjoyed trying each other's. It was so flavorful and the portions were nice and big so we had left overs. We will absolutely be back!!
