Ordered a 10" pizza and a cilantro lime chicken salad to go. Came out to about $44.00. I realized it when I arrived at my hotel that the pizza was a 10", but somehow I was charged for a large and the salad was a Caesar Salad. Called their number and no one answers. get it together people, you weren't even that busy.

The server was very nice, but not very attentive and the place was nearly empty. The fish and chips we ordered were like 3 slightly overgrown fish sticks, and on the soggy side, sitting on top of a single layer of fries on a large metal tray which made everything look even more slight. The pizza I saw other people order looked good. Maybe next time.

My party had a total of 17, which we made a reservation days prior. once we are there and seated, the 1 waitress took our drink orders whiched took about 35 minutes. We did receive water. I sat there almost 2 hours without the drink I ordered. We placed our order which took another hour, just to be told after 35 minutes of placing the order that most of what we ordered, they were out of. Two and a half hours of being there we received biscuits which was frozen in the center. One member of our party decided to order a To Go order online. That order was ready within 25 minutes. I was absolutely disappointed in the service given and the food. We had to advocate for ourselves just to receive a rightful discount or no bill at all. During this whole process we was there a little over three hours, some without drinks. some without food. We was given pizza to take home. I don't recommend!

This was the worst experience I've ever had a restaurant! We got there at 2:30 some people didn't even get drinks til 4:00. We were there on Fathers Day and it wasn't even that busy!! After 2.5 hours some people in our party still hadn't received their food. That food we did receive was unseasoned, half frozen , hair on it, overcooked... a complete disaster!! After waiting for over 2.5 hours we just decided to leave, still with some people never receiving their food . We also had to pay a bill higher than we should have for their lack luster service, as we didn't think we should have to pay the amount that they asked for according to all the mistakes that were made on their part!!! I would never go to this establishment or anyone affiliated with them again!!! Please don't waste your time, money or taste buds to this place!!!! THE WORST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

**Disappointing Experience – Would Not Return**

I rarely leave negative reviews, but our visit here was incredibly frustrating from start to finish. Despite there being only 1–3 other tables in the restaurant, it took nearly an hour and a half for our food to come out. Considering it was Father's Day, I would've assumed they would be better prepared.

To make things worse, drink refills were non-existent. On the rare occasion the waitress did refill a glass, she only filled it halfway. No ice- warm water. She also rarely checked on our table after dropping off the food, except to drop off the check. Our table of 6 people all had empty glasses during the meal.

As for the food: the fries were cold and clearly tasted like they came straight from the freezer. My “side” of coleslaw came in what looked like a tiny dipping sauce cup—barely two bites. And the pizza was awful: it had a very weird and distinct taste. Definitely not worth the wait.

Overall, the service was inattentive, the food was below average, and the experience was one of the worst I’ve had in a long time. I won’t be back, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

First, we ordered and they came back to say a lot of what we ordered — they did not have . We waited for over 2.5 hours for food, we only got a portion of the food — and even that was poor quality. From some not done all the way, to some being stale..
we got here at 2:30, it’s 5:23 and everyone at our table have not gotten their food.

We ended up telling them to forget about bringing out food — however they came back saying our bill was still $400+.

Do not recommended, especially for the brunch menu. Horrible experience!

Wish I could give 0 stars for the service. Our food arrived cold and soggy, as we saw it sitting under the heat lamp, forgotten, for 15 minutes. I try to be understanding but there were 20 people in there max, and we were forced to leave a $10 minimum tip

I went to the restaurant at 4:45 pm on June 6. A few patrons there, 6 or so.

We were promptly seated.

After about 15-20 minutes a wait person came by. This was rather odd, as the same waitress passed by several times, then went back to checking her phone. We must not have looked hungry.

I order the crab soup, and my wife ordered the chicken sandwich.

The order came fairly fast.

The soup - the only way I can describe it - take a small bowl of water, add 2 boxes of salt and some dirty dishwater, and that is what it looked and tasted like. It was so bad, it took my breathe away when I first sipped it. I asked the wait person not to charge me and they took it off the bill.

The sandwich and fries - typical middle of the road meh you get at most mall eateries.

I give this place about 8, maybe 10 months before it folds. And I think that is being generous.

My group had an amazing time at Matchbox. The food was good. The staff was awesome especially the bartender Dani.

The restaurant was good. The overall experience was a little clunky. Menus dirty and worn didn't match the well manicured website, that asks for the specific area you are going to dine in. The atmosphere was a little underwhelming. The food was good, the prices good. The service, we had a new server she was very good for her first night. You will not be blown away by the restaurant but you will have a good experience.

Waiter said matchbox Cville didn't have full menu compared to Northern Va matchbox. Disappointing when a restaurant lacks a complete menu.

It was dead when we arrived just after 11 am on a Sunday - unheard of during brunch weekend hours! I ordered the eggs Benedict. It came with bacon rather than ham - I asked (as I dislike bacon), and apparently, they were out of ham and made a command decision to put something else on it without asking me first. My eggs were hard, not poached, and whoever thought of putting eggs and hollandaise on top of sweet cornbread should rethink that choice. It was all just bad. My husband had steak and eggs; while he said he was okay, it was not worth the $40.

The was scare in quantity and quality. You play for everything If your kids starving don't ask for bread!! 5 Dollars for some toasted pita bread no cheese same price!! We asked server if the chicken sandwich was spiced for a nine yr old. They said no! It was very spicey. go to Chik A Fil for a better sandwich. The menu said that fish and shrimp Come with Cole slaw!! It arrived in a small McDonald ketchup sampler loaded with milky mayo and a few strands of cabbage! The fish and chips were so oily and more breading than cod! fried shrimp was hard to bite into because crust was again greasy and hard . The bill was expensive so don't go hungry you'll pay New York prices and leave hungry.
