When I made the Reservation I asked for a low top table because we had a Handicap access person and when I arrived the had sit the party @ a High Table. When I asked to be moved the Gentleman told me there was a BIG game today and it was convenient to put us in the back @ the High Tables.

The positive was the slider appetizer. Poke bowl was not good at all, zero flavor and rice was overcooked. They brought out the wrong pizza and didn't ask if we wanted it corrected. They did remove it from our bill.

BEST service I've ever had at a restaurant. Delicious cocktails and incredible wood fired pizzas. Came on a busy Valentines evening and was not disappointed in the slightest. Everything came out so quick and we were checked in on multiple times. Felt very taken care of here, especially by Tayler, our server. Couldn't recommend enough!!!

Where do I begin? First been to several Matchboxes in DC area. This location not close to them. Our salad was delivered and had to ask for silverware, then entress came out and were not our took forever for someone to replace with correct order. Sliders were way undercooked and fries were cold and undercooked as well. And we are still waiting for water we asked for when seated. Not a good experience. Will not return.

We like Matchbox and go there fairly often. This night the entire restaurant was very smoky and when we remarked on it, the hostess sort of laughed it off. We then asked our server who said he thought they were cleaning the kitchen, and it got smoky. We stayed and so did the smoke. It was just a little weird, but our food was fine so we ate quickly and left.

The food is always good. The portions are reasonable and it's in a great location. Wait times can range wildly based on crowds and their staffing Of late they have been quite understaffed. I've had food at the table quickly and so slowly I thought they'd forgotten about me. I'd encourage people to go if the weather is nice so you can sit outside and if you aren't in a hurry. Eating inside can be noisy and do not go with a tight schedule.

We love matchbox but this visit was very disappointing. They clearly didn't want to sit us outside even though they knew we had reservations for the outside they didn't bother to turn on the heaters for us. The pizza was good, the server was fine and the kids had a blast. But overall the owner was disappointing and started out rude.
Best. Giant. Meatball. Ever. Pizza = Amazing. MiniBurgers = Phenomenal. Amanda was great. Love this place!!
