Good is good love their club sandwich ?.Got onece the ribs they were that good 2/5 but then tried fried chicken it was good the Corn bread good as well .And the servers are nice

Today we ate at Mel's Café. We were welcome by a very high energy and knowledge waitress. She gave great service with loving humor which we enjoyed.Now the food was off the chain, if don't know what that means, the food was delicious. My girlfriend and I did not know what to eat first.Mel's was just the place we were looking for, local owner, great food and great atmosphere.

The food and service at Mel's was amazing. We met the owner Mel and such a wonderful person. Also, the waitress was energized, with great customer service , welcoming, and family oriented. The food was so good.
I loved this place! It's a tiny little place that seems to have been around forever, the food is outstanding. Might take a little time to get it because they cook it all fresh but well worth the wait! I had the celebratd fried chicken, fried potatoes and onions and mac & cheese. I had to try those three things and I'm glad I did!

Me and my my go when she has a Dr's. Appt. they never let us down always delicious and very polite. Gotta get the chicken dinner ,smothered pork chops , and on either Thursday or Fridays they might have some pigs feet or chitirlings.

Visiting from out of town and woke up late from our stay at 1 of the local resorts. Decided to get brunch at this little hole in wall restaurant, which had good reviews. Needless to say, the Omelet was awesome and the fried potatoes was Off The Chain! We live in Richmond VA but we plan on comming here when we are in the area.
Vegetarian options: We got the omelet without any meat and all vegetables.
